    Favorite locations/dungeons?

So, I just finished FFVI (again) and before I move on to the next game, I'd like to just discuss this game a bit. So...here I am, asking you all what your favorite locations or dungeons in the game?

    My favorites are:

Phantom Train - Oh, definitely the Phantom Train. I've always loved this part of the game, beginning with the Phantom Forest (which I wish was a little longer, because that place was cool, too). I've always had a fascination with ghosts and the idea of ghost trains/haunted trains has always been a little interest of mine for some reason, so this place suits my interests well. Plus, the music was awesome.

Cultists' Tower/Tower of Fanatics/Whatever the hell it's called - It's weird, because I both hate and love this place. I love it, because the music, the dark, evil atmosphere it had to it, the design and the boss. I hated it, because it felt like the random encounter rate was really high and the creatures towards the top were difficult (I believe the two specific creatures were Level 80 Magic and Level 90 Magic). They never actually killed me in this last playthrough, but they got really really close quite a few times and it was nerve-wracking.

Daryl's Tomb - I liked the dark, creepy atmosphere here. I just wish the dungeon was a little longer than it was.

Unless I'm forgetting something, those are my three favorite places in the game. Honorable mention to the Phoenix Cave, though.

Phantom Train, is awesome, sometimes I like to just stand around in there and look at it all. To be honest, that's about it, FFVI isn't my favorite FF so I son't like many of the dungeons.

I liked Zozo. Being the only city with random battles and constant rain, it was just so gloomy. It was also fun trying to figure out the clock's time to get Edgar his chainsaw, when everyone was lying to me!

I'd have to go with The Floating Continent and Kefka's Tower, as their music is unique, and doesn't appear anywhere else in the game. Really gets me pumped.

I'm gonna have to go with Zozo as well as Daryl's tomb. Zozo's music was so kooky and quirky that I absolutely loved it. I also loved the random battles in the towns, as well as the bizarre series of events and running around that had to be done.

Daryl's tomb was another one of my favorites, mostly because I got to learn so much about Setzer and his past.

ZoZo is the greatest city in FFVI.

    EVERYONE TELLS THE TRUTH

The Fanatics Tower was supposed to have really high encounter rates.

Good thing that there's Mog with his 0 Encounter Relic =3
I also loved Zozo, jumping between buildings was the best xD
Other favourite places were definitely the Phantom Train, Kekfa's Tower(awesome music), Floating Continent(same motive) and Jidoor(mostly for the Auction House, that little spoiled kid was always fun to watch)

Yeah, he was cool, even if he was a little weak in battle.

    I love:
Zozo: The bandit atmosphere and the song is just good.
Vector Research Fatory: the whole place reminds me of Kefka, and the theme for the place is also great.
    Kefka Cult/Fan Tower:haha, kefka rules!
Opera House:The Show is great *.* . I love Ultros, he is funny.

    Re: Favorite locations/dungeons?

My favorite would have to be the Cave of the Pheonix. I liked having to navigate two different groups, and having to use them to solve puzzles. Of course it was annoying trying to figure out where to go while running into fights all the time.
Two dungeons that I found annoying but would probably enjoy a lot more if I played the game again would be the Magitek Factory and the Phantom Train. With the Magitek Factory, I didn't know where I was supposed to go, and became frustrated with the fact that I was running out of potions very quickly. With the Phantom Train, I kept wondering the entire time when the thing was going to end, and I was very concerned about my health. But as I said, I'd probably enjoy them more going through the game again.
Mt. Koltz is an honorable mention. Chasing whoever you were chasing was fun.

Yeah, I remember having problems in those areas during my first playthrough as well. Good times!

I really enjoyed the Emperor's Banquet. I remember trying so hard to get the best item he would offer. Ah, as soon as I beat XIII-2, I am replaying VI.

Edit: Also, delivering the letters for the wounded soldier.
