FFX HD 2 days for me. Ive put off replaying it for 2 years ever since I heard the announcement for the remake. Finally it will be here, and in HD.
Also looking forward to Conception II
and maybe infamous second son. Looks kinda cool.
Any upcoming games you looking forward to playing this year or next? You can also include anything game-related, like an upcoming videogam movie etc

Oh yes plenty namely The Evil Within and Batman:Arkham Knight#Rocksteady yo and The Last Guardian. My brother has the Occulus Rift and I want to play some of the horror games on it. The Ratchet and Clank movie is coming out nxt year, maybe at this year's E3 they'll announce a new R&C game to coincide with the movie. Wouldnt hurt to include a Sly Cooper game for the SlyCooper movie in 2016 XD
EDIT: Ive had the FFX HD remaster since December I havent played on my PS3 for a while. Just dont have time for my consoles these days
Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls is out on the 25th. I will be definitely picking that up.
FFX HD is obviously out tomorrow which I imagine quite a few of us will be playing.
Later on in the year I look forward to Halo 2 Anniversary or Halo 5 (more likely H2A) getting announced at E3 and released in the fall/holiday
Order 1886
World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor
Alien Isolation
Hyper Light Drifter (looks like an amazing Indie game)
Planets3 (Think minecraft, but you can go in space, lots more customization as far as items go, storyline, bosses, etc)
Destiny
Hotline Miami 2
Dying Light (I'm dying waiting for this game)
Transistor (From the people who made Bastion)
I'll watch how the new Wolfenstein turns out, but not expecting much. Do want to play the Doom beta though.
I don't have a whole lot. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeros/The Phantom Pain (whichever is on PS3) is what i'm looking forward to most. Nearly died when I saw it was coming out on Ps3as well as Ps4 lol. I'd pre-order it right now if I could guarentee I'd have the money for it by then.
Pokemon Z if they follow the trend of releasing Crystal, Emerald, Platinum a year or so after the originals. Either that or the Ruby/Sapphire remake, but who am I kidding?
Looking forward to the Ratchet and Clank movie too, and any new R&C game that may come out around that time. Nexus was fun, if a bit short, so hopefully they have something bigger planned.
The Elder Scrolls Online is coming out pretty soon too, and it looks amazing. Even if I can't play it right now, it'l be cool to watch other play it on youtube, etc. Is anyone here planning on getting this?

I gave a more detailed explanation as to why I'm looking forward to certain games in a similar thread quite recently, this time though I'll just make a list...
- Batman Arkham Knight (as of recently)
- Dragon Age: Inquisition
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
In the meantime South Park: The Stick of Truth lived more than enough to its expectations
Games I would love to play but probably won't for one reason or another...
- Final Fantasy X HD Remaster (not X-2, no ****ing way)
- Mario Kart 8
- Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

Is Mario Kart 8 coming out on the 3DS or is it just the wii U? The last 3DS Mario Kart was pretty disappointing tbh. I don't think it could beat the one that came on the DSLite a few years ago.

Not really looking forward to anything but would like to be able to afford Dark Souls 2 and wish Yakuza 5 would be released outside Japan. Wanted the next MGS, but having an additional price tag on a prologue is unethical and something I refuse to support.
I'm looking forward to the Metal Gear Solid V games, and Batman: Arkham Knight. Nothing else springs to mind. I suppose there's that Sonic Boom game that's in the making, but I haven't read enough into it to be more interested.
Well ground zeroes should be on its way to my house shortly. Other than that, I suppose watch dogs is on my list, but I have so many other games on my shelf to play.
I started star ocean: the last hope last night and I'm working on beyond: two souls, but I'm dropping everything for mgs, just like I dropped everything for stick of truth

FFX/X-2 HD is what I'm getting into soon...I might buy a PS3 just for it.
I count this as upcoming because it's in Alpha and Early Access, Rust...I can't wait to see what is going to happen in the next year.
As Pete said, the New Metal Gear Solid game looks amazing and finally doing open world from what I thought MGS3 was going to be.

Ground Zeroes got delayed over here in Australia for the second time, and that includes the digital release, apparently. Looks like I'm going to have to wait another week again.
Speaking of Star Ocean: TLH, I want to go back to that someday with my clear data. It's been a while..
My bad, it's a WiiU exclusive after all, I was hasty to assume it will appear on 3DS as well seeing as the new Smash Bros will. I only ever played three games in the series, Mario Kart 64, Double Dash and the one on DS, Double Dash was by far the worst, I didn't like it at all.

I agree, I wasn't big on double dash's concept. I really liked Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii, and Mario Kart 7. I am really looking forward to MK8 which looks awesome and has a lot of potential for online competitive play.
The other games I'm looking forward to are X, Hyrule Warriors, Smash Bros, Zelda Wii U, and last but not least, Final Fantasy XV.

None of you mentioned Yoshi's Island 2 for 3DS. The first one for SNES was epic. It came out out recently.
I'd get it but I don't think I've even played the first one. It was put on the Gameboy or the Gameboy Advance but I've never seen it around.
On the other hand if the new Donkey Kong Country game wasn't already out I'd have listed it. 3DS games are so expensive though and they never seem to drop in price, I've seen Pokemon Diamond and Pearl going for the same price as the much newer games and they came out in 2007.

Gotta go buy them second hand. 3DS games are just that way.
