Tales of Xillia 2 Reveals Two New Playable Characters

From other sources I'm told this is a spoiler for those that haven't played the first game, meaning all of us more than likely. So bare that in mind going forward.

Tales of Xillia 2 from Namco Bandai has revealed two new playable characters for the game seen in the magazine Jump. Tales of Xillia 2 is a direct sequel to Tales of Xillia, but follows a new main character, Ludger. One of the driving forces for Ludger is paying off his debt and the other is protecting a girl. On his journey, he will meet with many of the characters from the first game.

Past announcements have revealed the majority, if not all, of the original games playable cast will be playable again in Xillia 2. The new characters were not playable in the last game, but were characters mentioned or appeared during the course of the story. The first is Gaius, the King of Liese, who seems to be hiding his identity with the goal of protecting the weak. The second is Musee, Milla's sister who has returned back to the human world and has a spirit that can cut dimensions.

Xillia 2 will make use of the same combat system as the first game with some additions to it. Ludger's debt will be used to open up new areas as he pays it down. Also if he doesn't keep paying it off collectors will hunt him down.

The theme for Xillia 2 is, "Would you destroy the world to save her?"
