The first one was a let down.
Anyone looking to get this game for the Wii? I've taken a look at the game's screenshots and liked what I saw. Honestly, I'm not going to buy it, I might rent it but I don't find it intriguing for some reason. I do hope it turns out better than I think it would.

I'm pretty sure 97% of the planet disagrees with that. Incidentally that number is also the game's metacritic score.
I still have to play through the first one, but I'm looking forward to this all the same. I feel so bad for neglecting my Wii sometimes [insert joke], but I've gotten so used to having nothing to play on it that when something does pop up, I don't know what to do and ignore it.

Until now!
I thought the game was fantastic, and I cannot wait for 2! I haven't looked at the screen shot's yet, but I think I will give it some time, and see what it's like when I get it.
Some of the Camera angles did get on my nerves a bit, and the story was really childish, but besides these problems the game really wasn't that bad.Originally posted by Che
Camera angles were terribad, and the story was really really bland. Levels weren't as cool as they could have been.

I just plain can't play the Wii. I have enough trouble with normal controllers. One of my friends really liked the first Mario Galaxy and I bet she is going to get this one. There are a few Mario games I remember that have complex stories (sort of) but most of them are simple.
Well, considering this is one of the Wii titles that I have been waiting for, I can pretty much assume that I will be buying the game. Though, to be honest, I haven't gotten all the stars in the first one... Still stuck on Luigi's Purple Coins and the one challenge that you have to destroy all the garbage. I still really liked it though, and I'm excited about seeing more of this new one.
