not really a boss, but the iron maidens in RE4, just there face scares the crap out of me and its heavy breathing scares me, i couldnt finish RE4 cause of it X3 i saw it once when my mate was playing, scared the $#@% out of us, we could hear its heavy breathing and my mates like oh yea show you this creepy enemy, he went looking everywhere for it and couldnt find it, and he was in the cell thing turn around and it was right behind him, i jumped and everything X3 when i got up to the part where you first meet them, i just could not do it X3
Bioshock. The whole game disturbed me, I couldn't play far enough into the game to fight a boss (I got to the point when you first got adam, and then was too scared to play) Just getting down a corridor in that game was a boss for me, only cuz of all the shouting of the enemies I couldn't see.
Yeah, that whole scene with the mannequin near the beginning of 2. xD
@Taigon: They were called Garridors, the blind things with the claws. Like most everything else in the game, they're absoulutely EASY once you know what to do. The Garridors are blind. As long as you do not (absolutely do NOT unless you have to) run! Walk as much as you possibly can when they're around.
The first one is simple and fun to mess with. Just keep Ashley upstairs and once he comes out walk up the stairs to let the door fall. After that use the "wait" and "follow me" command to make him run toward you. He'll either charge to stab you (sidestep him, you can run for this) or he'll run up and do his swinging combo (you can run as long as he's doing that but stop once he's finished) and rinse and repeat.
The one in the Cage, make sure you have at least one grenade and a TMP (doesnt need to be upgraded and can be sold directly after) but throw the grenade at the Garridor, and while he's hurt pull out the TMP and shoot the lock and get out of the cage! That makes this fight so, so much easier.
xD I should post a Resident Evil 4/5 boss survival guide, because I know nearly everything about those games. Beating them on professional was fun ^^

You know you're high up in the world when you own an Organisation XIII cloak.
My friend likes having me as a partner in RE. Because I alwasy haorde the explosives, and forget I have them until boss fights. Then I just kinda rain death upon them. By the time we fought Weskir in 5 I had the max ammount of all types of grenades and a rocket launcher. Needless to say, Weskir died quickly.

I would have to say Ashpyxia from Silent Hill Homecoming was the most disturbing boss I have ever played!
YouTube - Silent Hill Homecoming Walkthrough Part 24 - Boss Battle Ashpyxia beaten under a minute, Decision #2
It's not the best vid, but you will see what I mean! The boss Starts to appear 35 seconds into the video.

Two Words: Brood Mother.
From Dragon Age, the whole story of how she came to be freaks me out and gave me nightmares, and the actual vision of that foul and disgusting creature is just rip-your-eyes-out worthy.
Pyramid Head doesn't freak me out, i just think he's a neat concept. And BioShock freaked me out too, the whole story was terrifying.

I just played the Overlord DLC on Mass Effect 2 last night, and I'd say the Overlord kept me jumpy throughout the whole series of missions I did. His scream gives me the chills. Plus, once you find out the whole story about him, I thought the doctor was tenfold worse then the Overlord VI.
Just one of the bosses that I recently encountered.

Come on, people. We all know the definitive answer to this question. Clothos from God of War 2 is the most disgusting, disturbing and horrifying creature ever rendered in a video game. I'm going to risk a warning just posting a picture of it, but I'm doing it.

That trumps anything anyone else can throw down, with the possible exception of some of the creatures in Dante's Inferno. Yikes.

Until now!
Emerald Weapon anyone? That is certainly a scary moment when the giant is stalking you when the camera angle is wrong.
After that, Pyramid Head from PS2. The first battle... squelch. It hurts to think about it.
WEsker form Resident evil 5 a close second would be sephiroth just because of the music but now i find it funny cause i saw a parody video that made me giggle
CPC8... Makin' it happen

I feel like Silent Hill has a monopoly on freaky ass bosses. SH5 definitely takes an award for freakiest bad guys. Scarlet, Asphyxia, Amnion. Just, dear oh dear, there's some fear.
And as I mentioned before, Pyramid Head. Gross. The final boss of the first one was disturbing a well. lol
Eh... yall gunna laugh but, the thousand hand thingy in the orcarina of time scared me sh!tless... But that was when I was 9, eveything about htat game scared me...
Wait... Ocarina of time and Majoras mask were... scary...and awkwardly depressing?
Umm some people may laugh but I don't care... The final boss on Pandamonium used to scare the BEEP out of me. I'm aracknophobic and the idea of a giant robotic spidery looking thing with one huge eye and a really annoying laugh did not go down to well when i was younger.
But from newer games i'd have to say Pyramid head from SH5, I think it was they way he moved, dragging that big, old and bloody sword around behind his back. *shivers*
THe poster above is right.
SH5, and the rest of SH's are scary, asphyxia is scary, Pyramid head is an ass...

(Hoping this thread isnt too dead)
I think the Scariest thing i ever saw in a game was just the fountain fairys in Zelda OoT or MM (Dispite growing up on Silent Hill and Biohazard/Resident Evil, the screams the Fairys made scared me and still do.)
But as far as Bosses go, Again it probably would be Majora's Incarnation from Majora's Mask. A mask running around with legs? pretty weird to me. Lol though I just cant see Resident Evil or Silent Hill scary. Gory yes.
I think the first time I saw the opening for Sonic Adventure, i was disturbed with Chaos0 lol but thats about it.
Ah, I see that you mistaken fear from cautionary.
