I started playing this game this evening, the entry I am playing of Ogre Battle is the PS1 remake of the original SNES title of March of The Black Queen. I am usually bad at strategy games but I seem to be doing well on this one so far. The gameplay is really enjoyable and the soundtrack is great. Anyone ever play these kind of games? if so what is your favorite entry? and what do you like most about Ogre Battle?
Also, if you would like to give any pointers to this greenhorn, I gladly welcome them.

I have only played the one on the N64, and I only rented it, so I never was able to complete it, but I really enjoyed what I was able to play.
Apparently, this is a game where your choices matter, at least they were supposed to on the N64.
