JRPG News Post NISA Brings 3 More JRPGs to the NA and EU regions

IGN has confirmed that long talked about JRPGs, here, will be coming to the NA and EU regions this year. The 3 JRPGs are Disgaea D2, Tokitowa and Kami Paradox, all of which I have covered with fair regularity.

Start with the easily recognizable game, Disgaea D2, which is still not out yet in Japan (coming March) will be titled Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness will becoming out in the fall. As reported before, this is a direct sequel to the original Disgaea game for the PS2. So Laharl and company will be back.

Next is Tokitowa, which got a lot of attention for the visual quality it was bringing and its claim as the first HD animation RPG. The game makes use of animation level quality characters for the game, while the backgrounds are rendered in game. So all of the characters will look like an anime. This will be coming out in the Summer of this year for a price of $50. This comes from Imagepoch. Tokitowa will be going under the title Time and Eternity.

The last game, is another NISA game part of their 20th anniversary collection of games. This is a rogue like game called The Guided Fate Paradox, and will have character designs from the artist known for Haruhi Suzumiya and Shakugan no Shana. This will also be coming out in the fall.

So get your PS3 warmed up for a more and more tightly packed year for JRPGs!

If you are wondering about more of NISA releases, Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory is coming out next month along with Atelier Ayesha (localized by NISA and published by Koei Tecmo). Also on the horizon will be Tales of Xillia, Padora Tower and Lightning Returns.
