OMG you've palyed Riven?!?! *explodes*
I used to love that game but i could never find someone else who had played it
Not long ago, I finished a round thought Myst on the PC.
Currently I am about halfway (I think... I hope) through RIVEN(myst 2), and have a copy of Exile (PS2) waiting on the shelf.
The visuals in these games are amazing, so very simple and flat. Amazning for 1993.
I also really enjoyed the origionality of the story, and the creativity of the puzzles.
Anyone here played these games?

Yeah, the visuals are amazing, and the story is great. [Riven]
But the game design in ludacris. The puzzles have no clues and when I check I guide I always think "who would have thought of that?!"
I got my copy of Riven at goodoldgames.com if your curious. They have (Real)Myst and Exile too.

The puzzles always confused me but i had fun trying, mostly i'd play because i liked the scenery etc. Now that i think about it i've got Riven kicking around somewhere but i'll have to look up that site for the others, thanks
You can tell by reading the intro in the manual that its a labour of love, visualy you wouldnt expect it to be as old as it is.

I didn't get a manual. I baught my hard copy on amazon, and apperently 15 year old software isn't compatable on windows vista or 7.
So I downloaded it from that website.
They cost around 6-8usd per game.
Exile(myst 3) is about 3usd for the PS2 game.
DO NOT buy myst on the DS I have it, and you can't see ANYTHING. It is impossible to play.
