Which game controller of any system (is/was) the most comfortable or uncomfortable to you?
The most uncomfortable for me was the N64 especially when the rubber on the joystick wore out and had to play with the metal stick. Killed my thumbs. I have forever engraved dents in them.

And the most uncomfortable controller had to be the original xbox controller. Too damn bulky and a lot of finger stretching was involved lol

Haha The Duke was an awful controller, it was fair to big.
The most comfortable controller that I have ever used was all from Sony Systems, PS2 was my favorite out of all of them.
I have adapted to my 360 controller, not as comfy as a PS one though.
The Xbox 360 controller fits into my hands perfectly, and feels the most comfortable out of the other systems controllers. I have big ass hands though.
As for the worst, I would have to say the Nintendo 64 was the most annoying, and uncomfortable controller I have ever held.

Ps2 was the most comfortable but like you said with the 64 when the grip on the joysticks wore out it was terrible to try and stick a corner in the likes of Grand tourismo or NFS.
It was hard getting used to the xbox 360 when I have been such and avid fan of the ps but I find it comfortable to use and I now find the PS3 weird when I play with my mate.

Was just curious! Trying to prove my theory. But that helps it. My thesis was just inaccurate.
Evilmods or something like that will make the 360 controller in a ps3 shell for $60 bucks. About as much as a normal controller.
Xbox 360 definitely is the best layout for me.
The only thing i really don't like about the PS2 is the flimsy analogs. Too much sensitivity. I will admit the D-pad is hell of a lot better than the xbox though.
Worst would be the dreamcast or N64.

I was bit skeptical at first as to how XBox 360 controller will fit into my puny little hands, surprisingly enough, I found it to be rather comfortable. My favorite one is definitely PS2 controller, worst one, N64, way too big and clunky.

I'm a huge fan of the 360 controller. Fits in my hands nice and snug, the triggers are a nice change over buttons, and nothing is out of reach. Nothing about the Playstation controller is that bad, but without ridges or anything my thumbs always slide off the analog sticks.
I think the worst controller I ever used in Gamecube. I guess if I had used one more I'd get used to it, but as it stands the design was just wacky.
I'm indifferent. I'm fine with any controller handed to me, so long as I have a brief adjustment period. I'm fine with the 360 controller now, but at first I was thoroughly confused. I'm also more than fine with the typical PS2/3 controller, but I don't think it's something I'd need. Cute though

It really depends on the type of game I am playing. If I am playing a racing game, I prefer the XBox controller (I love the Project Gotham Racing series. For shooters, it has to be the PlayStation controller (they're most like a gun). Same with RPGs, the PlayStation model is better for me. Puzzles, sports, or platform, XBox.
I can negotiate either controller easily, but those above are my preferences. I also like the GameCube controller. N64, not so much. And when I was little, I broke the TV by throwing a NES controller at it. Mario would not cross the bridge with those flying fish without dying a lot.
