The most hours you've clocked for a single game.

I looked through some old games and some had some epicly long hours clocked up on them. In the hundred and stuff. What's the longest you've consistantly played a game for?

I've got 203 hours on Oblivion. God knows where those days went. I think the longest I remember playing at once was about 8. I had a day off work and dedicated it to beating the Fox missions. Worth it.

The longest I've played a game non-stop would have to be Animal Crossing. That game had me by the balls for a good few weeks. I wasn't working at the time so I managed about 24 hours on the trot.

I think it's a testiment to the company if they have you play for hours on end. The longer they last the more I'm impressed. There is point where it becomes obscene but I don't care. Anybody else been stupidly hooked on a game for over 100 hours of whatever?

I'm pretty sure my copy of Pokemon Red has well over 100 hours clocked on it. I played it long enough to catch all 150 pokemon, and level my arbok up to the point that it could take out all of the Elite 4 and Gary on its own. Like, level 91, or something (I never got any of my pokemon to level 100 legitimately; I had a few that I got there cloning rare candies and giving them to them.) I also cannibalized my roster over to two copies of Gold and Silver (played through one of those twice.) If you count the two or three times I played through Blue to get the pokemon I couldn't get on Red, that is a lot of hours.

Unofficially, since there is no timer, I definitely played over 100 hours' worth of Warcraft II, III, and Morrowind. Not sure about Oblivion, Fallout 3, or New Vegas, but maybe. I think one of my playthrus of of FF6 had a high number of hours, though I don't remember for sure. Probably not 100, though. And DQ8 had a little over 80 hours at the end. Not because I was like "This is an awesome game! I have to do everything!" or anything; it just took me that long to be leveled up enough to beat the final boss, for some reason. I've heard others say he's really easy, but... uh... yeah.

Longest gaming time for a single day, I dunno. Probably Warcraft II or Pokemon Red, though I couldn't tell you how long I played them. Those were during the height of my not having a life, heh. I recently played Bioshock for like a 12 hour stint, until I beat it. The story gripped me that much. That was my only playthru, though. Anyhoo...

Pokemon Diamond and SoulSilver combine gived me just under 400, I dont think this counts, there is always things to do in pokemon

MMO: Everquest ...who knows? we know how things like that are.

Offcourse there is always the total times of multiple run thoughs of final fantasy games, the most time I've clocked on one file was about 95 hours in FFVII.

When it comes to hours clocked in one game, or franchise for that matter, nothing comes close to Pro Evolution Soccer series. Even if I combined several series, such as Final Fantasy, and Pokemon, it would still be far behind. Thousand's of matches, be it solo or against my friends, and every match lasts 10 minutes at least.

As for most time I clocked without a brake, eight hours, Wining Eleven 9 was the game. Me, and one of my friends were quite a rivals back then. still are when it comes to Pro Evo.

Well. I'm actually a little ashamed to admit this, but I have two-hundred and twenty-three hours on White Knight Chronicles... and I restarted a character early December 2010. Uhm... oops? Where'd the time go? ^^;;

On Oblivion on my main character (Gemma), I have 168:34:34. Second character (Ulric): 37:38:14. I also had another character called Vincent around, but I can't find his save. I can imagine he was over a hundred hours though. >>;

On Fallout 3 on my main character (Gemma), I have: 113:57:02. Second character (Morigan): 34:17:01. Third character (Adrian): 65:02:36. Forth (Drake): 15:40:12. Fifth (Vincent): 95:18:09.

On Fallout: New Vegas on my main character, I have 71:02:22.

On Yakuza 3, I have 149:58:58.

On Final Fantasy XIII, I have 127:30:36.

That's not including other games that I can't see play times of. So uhm... ya... I'm a little ashamed.

Don't be ashamed. I've got 1,652 hours on FFXI, and that's NOT counting the time I've spent in the game on PS3, or on the PC any time xfire disconnected and didn't log my time... or the time I spent in FFXI before I got xfire in January of 2006... and considering that I started playing in October of 2004...

But still, that doesn't begin to compare to Dawezy. ^^;

I've also logged 279 hours into CounterStrike: Source from back when I used to play competitively. That also doesn't include time from before xfire logging OR Steam logging.

If we venture away from online games, I've got just under 512 hours in my character for Monster Hunter Freedom: Unite. The next closest game would have to be multiple Pokémon games, followed closely by at least two of my Final Fantasy Tactics save files. Everything else trails off after that. I've got 104 hours in a single character for Dragon Age (86 hours in Origins, the rest in Awakening).

I think the games that have the most playtime from me would be between Final Fantasy VII, Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars, Okami, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Super Mario RPG and Ocarina of Time don't keep game time recorded, but I'm sure that I've made it passed the hundred hour mark on each, especially if you take into account the amount of times I've played through them.

As for a single file, I once had a save file from Final Fantasy VII that I played until the clock stopped keeping the time (99:99:99), and then just kept playing for Lord only knows how long after that. That was going to be my perfect file too, but one of my brothers saved over it...so I lost all that work I put into maxing out Materia, leveling up characters, breeding chocobos, and doing other sidequests and minigames.

As for longest time for playing a game non-stop, that would most definitely go to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I stayed up all night playing it, but then was punished for staying up too late playing a game.

I got access to the UO Beta oh so long (yay friends who got 3 accounts) and still play it randomly. Nothing like a good day of PKing and taking your loots. That's what MMOs are missing now days... but that's besides the point.

I think the most hours I've plugged into an RPG though? Probably a little over 100 on FFX. Mainly due to me and block only playing it when we were drunk and thought trying to get Lulu's ultimate weapon while intoxicated was the best idea ever. Needless to say, we never drunkenly dodged a bajillion lightning bolts.

Longest continuous playing of one game would most definitely be UO though... House camping IDOCs for the phat lewts of 3 towers, a keep and 4 L-Shapes. <3

I had 306 hours on my Dissidia save, until my memory stick corrupted a few weeks ago and I lost it all. FFFFUUUUU-!

The longest I have now is 174 hours on Pokémon Diamond and 126 hours on FFXII.

289:05(I loaded the file recently) for FFX though I have two files. One file is mostly gameplay but I'm sure 1/4 of it is blitzball hence, why I started the second which is just a copy of the first but JUST for blitzball.

The blitzball file is the one with 289 hours the first has about ...*checks*....282:08

My FFIX has I'm guessing one hundred something (whatever it says) since the time is red now.

Those two have the most hours though.

EDIT: Oh yeah VII has a godly amount but I don't remember exactly how many hours.

I've got some good amount of timing for some games, but i always nowadays make sure the time is never running when i'm not playing, so i know the exact time.

For a single game those are what stick out the most i think:
-Final Fantasy VII (106 hours) - really old record
-Final Fantasy VIII (125 hours) - really old record
-Final Fantasy IX (117 hours) - old record
-Final Fantasy X (242 hours)
-Final Fantasy XII (230 hours)
-Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (115 hours) - which is crazy for a single playthrough DS game, Although it's added with multiplayer as well.
-Kingdom Hearts (85 hours)
-Kingdom Hearts II (73 hours)
-Birth by Sleep - i have the second half left but im already at 50 hours

If i add games like Football Manager though, that's weeks of playing.
After a few seasons i've been playing literally for weeks in the game so that's many many hours.
So many games i've played that are between 20-60 hours but i won't mention them, they are just way too many.

Alot of games don't even have clock in them like Zelda for example but many of those are probably over 100 hours.
Also played games ridicilously long like Battle Forge,League of Legends,Super Smash Melee/Brawl, Shadow Hearts, Tenchu, Torchlight and many others.

Halo 2. I've played about 8000 games on my xbl account, and thats not even counting lans/offline games lol

of course this is over a 3-4 year period, but yeah. The number is definitely not constant but lets say each game is about 10 minutes a piece, and thats over 1300 hours on one game. I'd say at least 20% of those games have gone 15 or more minutes too. Ya'll can do the math yerselfs.

Well...in Final Fantasy XI it was counting my time in years so....yeah. Of course, that included the fact that I would often leave it running overnight on a mule to sell stuff, but still. I racked up an absolutely ridiculous number of legit gameplay hours on that one. Considering that it took a minimum of hours to do pretty much anything, it's not surprising.

My xfire has World of Warcraft logged at about 2500 hours. Then add in about another 1000 hours of that off of xfire from parts of 2007 and 2009 till October 2010 annnnnd then another 300 hours from November to December 2010.

Fallout 3 ~ I have five different file. Two of which are clear past 200 hours, one is at 400, the other two I don't think I have even gotten to 100 hours of gameplay. The one at 400 is clearly the one I enjoy playing the most. I am pretty sure I have done everything possible in the game, I maxed out my level(did that around 100 hours).

Fallout New Vegas ~ One file, and it is only at 76 hours of gameplay.

FFVII ~ It is the FF game I am most proud of when it comes to total hours. I have a ton of different files. The first one I ever made is my favorite. I played on it the other day, and added about 6 hours to my time. Which is now past 400 hours. A little much, seeing as how half that time is not at all necessary.

My COD: Blackops play time is clear past 1000. I play it all the time. Everytime I get a chance I get online, and crush bitches.

I have 212 Days on World of Warcraft... Now I quit for long peroids of time, and other people had my account info to play so I wouldn't say all of that time was me but a good portion of it. This is also only my first character. When you managed 12-15 hours a week for 3-4 solid years it adds up quickly.

212 * 24 = 5088 hours

I have played 400 matches of starcraft 2, at 15 minutes a match thats...

400 * 15 / 60 = 100 hours

The original starcraft robbed me of a full year of my life I would guess. I remember 4 v 4 matches in college that would go a minimum of 4 hours each. I played that game from 98 to 05 a lot.

My god I have a ton of time invested in video games.

Overall for a single game I have clocked in about 300 hours or so? On God of War II , mainly because I love that game and I played it soo many times doing multi play throughs and starting new games on higher difficulties!!

The most in a single play through, maybe around 150 or so on Persona 3, I got like everything, haha.

I know it doesn't sound like much, but to me thats a while, seeing as how a normal play through of Persona 3 can go from 70-80 hours, and seeing how old I am, I am only 15, haha

EDIT: Even on my favorite game now (Raging Blast 2) I haven't even gotten close to 150 hours, I have a friend who plays that game non-stop from 3 pm-10 pm every night, and he's had it since it came out (November 2nd 2010) O_O,so that's 952 hours total he has played it NOT including other hours on weekends, its like the first thing he does, I bet he has over 1500 hours in it including weekends. (I really don't know how to actually find it out, I took 136 days times 7 and got 952, is that right math?)

I am borrowing Raging Blast 2 right now and so i can't say that I own the game, but I just love it, and the person I am borrowing it from takes really bad care of his games, so I'd be glad to take it off of his hands, give Raging Blast 2 a safe new home and nonstop playing of it till the end of time, or if Raging Blast 3 ever comes out, or if i find a new fighting game even more addicting than it!
