I'm looking for new online rpg games like Final Fantasy,World of Warcraft ,Vindictus and League of Legends.

Does anyone know any good fresh ones?
Apperantly FF14 sucks and is not worth the money (i've heard) and Vindictus is decent but lacks alot depth

I played Perfect World International, it was fun. The game was started in China, and the influence shows. Perfect world is free to play, but you can buy stuff like Wings(you can fly), and cloths, from the website. the character appearence is HIGHLY customizable and the community is pretty good/friendly. Atleast on my server.

I used to play Everquest back around 2001, that was really good. I'm not sure how EQ has aged thoug.

If your into MMO style games you should go to your local game shop and ask around if there are any D&D/Pathfinder games going on that would be willing to take in a new player (there always are). The game structure is alot like MMO but with a little more freedom.

EQ turned into EQ2, and then into Vanguard.

To be fair, every MMO on the market today one way or another (or completely blatantly) rips off World of Warcraft. Which always begs the question; why play a clone when the original is still much, much, much better?

I really can't recommend a good MMO that's not WoW, because there really aren't any. Every one of them I've played is just a bad WoW clone with clunky controls or unfinished/bug-ridden.

What Sean said. No good MMO is out besides the always easy WoW.

You can wait, wait for new MMOs to come out this year....but chances are they are going to fail and everything once again is back to WoW.

But just for kicks, here are a couple to look forward to.

DC Universe, Star Wars: The Old Republic, RifT, Guild Wars 2 and maybe the new WarHammer.

As far a free MMOs? No clue.

Vindictus is the best free MMO that's out there right now. It's not even a WoW clone at all. It's a beat'em up. And free. What more do you want? >_>

And you can customize the character to a degree. But yeah, other than Vindictus, Sean's nailed it on the head. WoW is really the best one there is, regardless of what people say.

Is Aeon any good?
Global Agenda is really cool, you get to play in 'gangs', which are really just clans, but there's real strategy involved. It's fun. :3
And suppose Diablo 3 can count as an MMO, heard the alpha is amazing.
And any MMOs that take after Final Fantasy Tactics? (battle system-wise)

No, Aion isn't good. It's one of those WoW clones that doesn't live up to it. As far as 'gangs' go, I'll wait for APB to come out, or possibly play Crime Craft (if that's its name.)

And not that I know of as far as FFT goes.

I'm not a fan of MMOs. Too time consuming to get what you're paying for, and the second you're hacked, you're pretty ****ed.

I heard Perfect World was alright. I've watched my brother play Runescape with his friends, which looked alright too - our anti-virus software didn't look alright though after he'd played that for a while.

Only MMO I ever got into was a text based one. I had a lot of fun on there with friends and we really got into the roleplaying aspect of it. ^^; I guess WKC more or less counts too. But yeah, I'm not a fan of mainstream MMOs that people go batty over.

I've gotten hooked on DC Universe.
It plays kinda like those superhero sandbox games (like inFamous and Prototype) only multiplayer and the amount of powers you can choose from is awesome.

I think the different gameplay is the only reason I could get into it, I really got sick of the MMOs that were mostly just a bunch of clicking, drag clicking and keyboard shortcuts. That, and it's on PS3 as well as PC which means I can play it as easily as turning my TV and PS3 on.

Warhammer 40k Reign of Chaos or w/e doesn't take up that much time, leveling up doesn't require grinding.

Think FFXI is the only MMO i'd like to play.

There's an Indie one I played around half a year ago, Fantasy Online I think it was called. It was pretty fun, but didn't last long. It's free, so it's worth trying out. Plus, Kongregate members get badges.

Free always sounds good.
It just seems asinine to pay for an MMO when there are so many free ones out there. And especially now that almost every console game has online play with PSN or Wii network. Also look aroudn the net for free servers for WoW or Everquest, they only have 100-200 players on them and they don't get the updates as fast as the real servers but the game is the same and scince it is a privately operated server the communities are often tighter.

If all else fails Neopets is a good adiction to have

I also find it rediculous that Microsoft feels the need to charge for Xbox live. when microsoft is by far the wealthiest of these 3 companies.
I won't by an Xbox on principle alone.
