I found having high renegade or paragon paid off alot. I was an Infiltrator and had chose when I reached tier 4 to bump whatever my renegade and paragon were so I had full paragon and half renegade by the end of the game. Pretty much having the quick out to say something to defuse whatever was happening saved me many times. From Zaeed, Tali, and the Jack and Miranda beef.

I did miss the amount of customization the guns had in the first. But I can't say I was too pissed about it either.

I was maxed out Paragon. I even did the "retrain powers" so I could re-boost my paragon by 100% (or whatever the stat was) a second time. Although I played as an Engineer.

I chose to do a 2nd playthrough from the beginning... but going renegade this time. Love the lines, lmao!

I had no idea that if you go to land somewhere after getting the Reaper IFF that it'd automatically bring you to the end of the game.

FFS! I hadn't even done Legion's loyalty quest! I decided to wing it, and I'd tie up the loose ends that I missed this playthrough on my next one. Here's how it played out:

Sent Legion in the tubes. He was my only casualty. Got smoked by a missile once we got through the doors.

Had Miranda lead the first squad.

Had Garrus lead the 2nd squad.

Had Jack escort the crew survivors back to the ship.

Had Samara do the biotic barrier.

I had Legion (Loyal) in the tubes, he lived.

I had Jacob (Loyal) lead the first squad, no deaths.

I had Grunt (Loyal) lead the second squad, he died.

I had Jack (Not loyal) escort, she died.

I had Samara (Loyal) do the biotic barrier, no problems.

The only team I remember using was my final one against the final boss, used Thane and Garrus, but the fight was over quick since I just nuked the ****ing thing.

I have a save just before I did Legion's loyalty mission, I might go back and redo it and fix Jack's loyalty with Paragon points then try again.

Beat it! Got like over 500 points from getting all the achievements at the end, haha.

I kept everyone alive, had all the ship upgrades, most of the other ones as well, got to level 27 as a Vanguard. I just got all the DLC stuff downloaded, so I'll probably work on that and finish up some of the achievements I missed. None of them are too hard, I just have..

*Brawler

*Master at Arms

*Tactician

*Incineration Specialist

*Power Gamer

and whatever else the DLC has. Now I gotta find some other game to play while I'm waiting for mass effect 3, lol.

I went back to my first save, and re-did it and got the No One Left Behind achievement. I didn't want to carry over that save and not have Legion in my party. So, the only things I changed was Tali in the tubes (as she was loyal, so she made it) and I had Mordin escort the survivors back to the Normandy (just to make sure he made it too).

It worked.

So now I can carry over a full team for ME3.

This game rocks. Imported my lvl 60 Soldier. Made it to lvl 30 in the first play through. Got the best ending by making them all like me mostest and destroy the last thingy. Got all the achievements except the insanity one. Man that gets rough as a soldier.
