    Mabinogi

Mabinogi is a MMORPG (i think) that i have gotten into recently its good and it has a re-birth system ooh and its free it is a really fun game to play the only problem i could really find with this game is that its hard to get money and good equipment costs loads right now im a noob on it again though i played the Beta a while back and got a lot of good armour that all got reset then i stopped playing but im back! Has anyone else heard of or played this game.

the problem with rebirth games is that they are korean style mmo's that require countless hours of mind numbing grinding, and then doing it all over again. Ragnarok Online(though I loved the game) and Zero Online to name a few.

Also free is nice, but generally the pay members have just huge advantages over the free players, although D&D wasn't too bad, or Dark Orbit as a browser game

Premium unlocks some stuff it looks like also a 10% bonus exp, a house, and some other slight advantages.

Obviously premium has to be beneficial or else the game would go broke, but it doesnt seem like its too superior.

Have you ever try Entropia Universe? It's 'free to play' technically but you use real money as currency in the game, its pretty challenging, there are people who have never deposited money on it, and now have characters worth over $10,000 USD. It's one of my favorate free to play games because of it

    Re: Mabinogi

Yeah thats basically its biggest selling point, all the money is basically 10 ingame dollars = $1 USD, it's a difficult game though, unless you do research on what weapons or equipment to use based on your skill levels, its very common to be spending more money shooting than you are recieveing in loot, so strategy involves hunting things where the items they drop are in demand, so that you can charge a higher than normal price for them.

There are actvities that don't cost money, but will obtain items that are in demand, so if you have the discipline in patience, you can build up some money in the game, and yes, you can withdraw money you make in game to send a check to you
