Level 5's Ni no Kuni Sales Numbers Released

The PS3 JRPG Ni no Kuni, released in last year in NA and EU, finally has some numbers to tell what sort of success the game reached. Alone, excluding the 3DS game, Ni no Kuni managed to sell 1.1 million units worldwide with a combined sales with the 3DS game nearly making it to 2 million, with it hitting 1.7 million units. In a market with JRPGs that are not a Final Fantasy game usually only making a few hundred thousand, a million sales is a strong sign for the game.

I bought this game as soon as I'd heard about it, as I love Studio Ghibli's art style.

Unfortunately I was unable to complete this game due to the abysmal AI of your teammates. It turned a dream of graphical excellence into a nightmare of micromanaging and frustration as your party members seemed to actively sabotage your efforts to play Ni no Kuni. The White Witch's wrath was nothing compared to my own.
