Soooooooooooo, any of you mortals hear about Sakaguchi's latest project for the Wii aptly named The Last Story - reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy. Not only that but he said he was "betting a lot" on this game... ... just as Final Fantasy was that last effort from Squaresoft. To put the cherry on top, the game has a logo that could appear similar to Final Fantasy alla File:The Last Story Logo.jpg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia


I found this to be quite funny as to the similarities to FF - the game is appearing on a Nintendo console just as FF did with the NES.

What do you mortals think of The Last Story and its connections with Final Fantasy? I'm interested in seeing how the game comes along as JRPGS have not really delivered this generation thus far.
