L Is Real?

On zelda oot there is a plak and it sayes l is real same in super mario 64 but what does l is real mean my friend said it said player r --- pm but what does it mean?

The Mario characters is a reference to them, since you know, Nintendo made Zelda.

If it only appeared in Zelda, I would have guessed it to be just random Hylian script, but since it appeared in a Mario game too...well, I really have no guess for you.

No Nintendo has made up it's own small language for Zelda, I have a picture of it somewhere. Oh but for that plaque (sorry forgot to explain on my first post) that's to tell you about the bombs and eyes when read. My guess is since Nintendo made both games, they are lazy.
