Kingdom Hearts Player Survey Out

Square Enix is running a survey wanting to know from their fans about their interests related to the Kingdom Hearts series. There is nothing specific in the questions that can hint towards directions of Kingdom Hearts 3. A significant part of the survey is asking about player interests and habits. The one part that is likely to have some impact on the immediate future is their questions about collector's editions and pre-orders. Since Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix is coming out and will eventually hit NA and EU, the answers provided in the survey may affect what they put into the collector's edition.

The survey has about 40 questions, but it didn't take longer than 10-15 minutes to fill out.

I think i'm looking forward to KH2.5 more than I was with the first one. All the extra stuff you get in KH2 and BBS Final Mix should be really cool.

Andromeda is the only one who had a serious thing to add at that point. Made me wish I had asked for them to include some Enix properties into the game.

Filled this out the other day. Mentioned PC versions in the last question. Seemed to be a fairly common request from what I've seen.

I mentioned something along those lines, as well. I would not consider dropping money on a Sony console to play some of these games but I'd consider dropping money on some of these games if they were available on the PC.

Square Enix has said that their current plans for FF and KH series is to release games on any platform that supports DX11, seeing as PC does and obviously has for a long time. It's a very likely course that they'll bring it to the PC as well. I'll still play on the PS4, I like those sorts of games on my TV rather than PC monitor.

They had a number of mistakes in their survey though, most of their other selections weren't actually selectable. Which was a little annoying since I actually needed other most of the time.

I assume it's the English branch doing this and then probably sending it back to the main branch in Japan. It's going to be funny when they see who I put down for your current favorite band or musician and I put down someone that hasn't been relevant for nearly a decade. They'll be like we asked for your current and I'm like "yup" it's my current. ^^ I trust them to know who they are, though it'll be funny if the English arm is clueless about who was popular in Japan.

Now I'm curious who your favorite is. I put in Kalafina as mine as I couldn't really say I have a favorite and I just put down one of the first ones I could think of.

I really do hope they go through with putting future games on PC. Japanese games are probably the biggest thing missing on PC.

Which is funny because there is a healthy PC market for games in Japan, though I think a lot of them are Visual Novels. Other game types have more been at home on consoles. Not sure why.

I put down Nami Tamaki as my favorite.

I literally said: "I would like to play either an FF or a KH title on the Wii U."

I really think Square should put more stuff on the Wii U, I know they have FF I, VI, and Secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu 2 on the Japanese eShop and Deus Ex Human Revolution - Director's Cut, but it could really benefit from some modern FF games and maybe a KH HD port, or some other related KH entry. Of course that is just wishful thinking, but its a system with a lot of potential.
