Kingdom Hearts 3 Confirmed for PS4

Square Enix confirmed today during the Sony Press Conference at E3 that they are in development on a new Kingdom Hearts game. The long awaited sequel to Kingdom Hearts 2, Kingdom Hearts 3. Little was show of the new game, only Sora with a new keyblade and a KH2 updated costume.

Well this is a start lol. Are those Destiny Island palm trees in the background?

Correct, they were showing Destiny Island in the short clip of KH3 that they had. It was pretty much just a teaser saying, we're coming! I'm guessing that if they do KH2.5 HD, we might see a new teaser trailer for KH3 then.

Oh yes! This game looks really awesome. Still, I wonder what sorts of worlds Sora and co. will be visiting this time and are there more playable characters besides Sora. Questions, questions.

It seems Kingdom Hearts 3 is heading to XBox One as well.

I've only been interested in playing KH1 and 2 and only 3. I'm also positive that you only really need to play those to understand the gist of it, but I'd probably play any of them that isn't a card game.
