    Infinite Undiscovery?

We found it yesterday at Blockbuster for $15. Has anyone played it? Looks similar to The Last Remnant, which I really enjoyed.

    Re: Infinite Undiscovery?

I saw this game a couple years ago and wanted to buy it, which I did. But the game cover is almost unfair to judge it off of, to be honest. =p Still, it automatically looks RPG-y, which it is. I saw that Square Enix logo at the corner and that's what first drove me to buy it. Then I did some research and found tri-Ace (my favorite company at that moment for creating Star Ocean) is also the developer, so I was like, "Must. Buy. That. Game!"

Ahem, that aside, I thoroughly enjoyed the game. I thought the real-time element and story was strong, though some might disagree. You also have about twenty different characters joining you, but only part of that group you can have in your controlled party. That took some of the fun out, I'll admit, but seeing all the different characters' abilities was really cool. I loved how active the game is, too, and the environment is impressive.

Also, lots of people think the voice acting is bad. xDD But I like it.

Also, $15 is a great price for it. I got mine for twice that amount, but it went down a lot, I guess. Let's hope it's not due to unpopularity. x3 Still, you might enjoy it, since I know I did.

I think I need to dump the game onto the drive of the 360. It was crazy laggy! I totally got smoked at the beginning part when you are trying to outrun that Troll.

Then I got frustrated and turned it off. My not-quite two year old was getting bored with watching me game anyways.

    Stick with it!
I found that troll dungeon at the start harder than half the game after it (likely due to not having yet memorised the controls properly).

It copped a few negative reviews but was a rather solid RPG with a few noticable innovations and a (mostly) likable cast and a decent story. I'd go as far as saying it's one of the better current gen RPGs, even though that itself isn't saying much.

I'd say infinite undiscovery is a good game, it's fun and engaging for the most part. Waaay too many characters though, only the main few really get any development and keeping everyones equipment up to date is impossible so don't even bother trying. I also don't remember too many problems with the voice acting either, the main few have quite compotent actors and the others don't really talk all that much so... oh yeah the dinner dance... *shudder*

    The Gargoyle
    SPOILER!!:

    The gargoyle sits, solemnly, alone
    That silent man of stone
Here, for his deeds he must atone

    Beaten eyes stare blankly
    Withered arms curved and wrinkly
    Bat-like wings spread fully

For once he was a man deceitful
His soul decored in black so hateful
From his despair grew pain most vengeful

With his death he was deserted
    Left condemned and desecrated
    Bound to form most understated

And now he is but a statue made of stone
    Sitting all alone

    Star Gaze
    SPOILER!!:
High in the sky, blinking down on us
    We all watch the stars
    Believing, as we do
That friends and lovers long since moved away are staring upwards too
Remembering us as we remember them
Smiling in the light of an unatainable star
And even if the star was snuffed out at that very moment
    We would never know
    We just keep smiling
And believe the star is true
