I hate the Deep Jungle!

I'm playing Kingdom Hearts right now. I'm currently in the Deep Jungle and this place is ticking me off! I keep falling off the trees in the vine area, entirely my own fault I know (because I'm a below average gamer) and it's so annoying!

I'm trying to swing my way through the trees, but when I jump on the vine, it doesn't give me the option to jump next! Grr! I'm about to pop a blood vessel! I just want to get the fudge out of this place!

I hope the other worlds aren't this annoying.

From what I remember I had problems with Deep Jungle too in terms of getting around, I'm not very good at timing my jumps and like you would fall down. I think it is one of the harder worlds to get around, there really is no short cut either to it

The hippo jumping pisses me off more Most other worlds are better than Deep Jungle, I hated Tarzan anyway, so I may be biased

I love the worlds in KHII ... can't wait for III

I'm not a fan of Tarzan either. I'm not into the jungle theme all together.

ohhh man! that place is the worst! I was so embarrassed because I had to have my non-gamer friend do that part for me... and she got it! Never played a game in her life... we were both like wtf

Even for me, and I've played and beaten it over ten times, I still have trouble with the Deep Jungle. It's my least favorite world in the entire game, besides Alice and Wonderlands world. My favorite world is probably Hollow Bastion, the music is great there.

Is it wrong that i really like Deep Jungle? I think it clearly shows the exploring, ladder climbing and swimming parts that KHII sadly missed. If you blow a blood vessel just exploring the place im sorry but you may well violently explode when you fight the Boss. Im normally quite calm when playing videogames but i couldnt help getting slightly pissed off when fighting it lol, best of luck to you

Boss battles don't get to me that much. It just annoys me that I'm failing to get to a certain place, stopping me from getting to the next world. I rarely get angry at games, but I'll admit, I threw my control at the waterfall part. I have yet to try again

I believe there are prompts that can pop up on the screan to help with timing. I believe that the vines and other things light up wwhen you need to jump.

I finally got round to playing it about a year later. ****ing vines and hippos. urghhhh. I've not looked at the game since beating it either, it drives me insane

KH2 angered me even more, but that might of had summat to do with playing proud mode when Id never played it before.... ****ing Xaldin. I dont think one arsehole has ever pissed me off as much as that dude

It is nigh impossible to beat Xaldin on Proud mode. Especially on the first play through, have you tried it on a lower difficulty.

I don't recall having problems with Deep Jungle, my only issue with this place was going forwards, and backwards every so often to find out what to do next. Atlantica on the other hand was pain in the ass, battle with Ursula in particular. Her first phase made me realize how flawed the targeting system really is, second battle was even worse since the entire battle was one huge mess to begin with, where going berserk was your best solution really.

As for the game itself, it had some issues, camera, and targeting system for instance, AI of your companions tends to be stupid, overall it's a decent game, I personally enjoyed playing it.

My favorite world is probably Hollow Bastion, the music is great there.

I'm not really a fan of world itself really, but I do agree, music in Hollow Bastion is awesome, I even have it on my mobile.

Im a stubborn shit, and refused to let it beat me, at one point I got Mickey 5 times in a row, and I still got a game over, I sat there for well over an hour constantly being faced with the game over screen I about flew into a rage when I got him down to a millimeter of health and died. But I got there in the end.... urgh. Blood pressure.

I could never get Mickey to come and help out more then two times each time I fought Xaldin. Its really irritating then you get him down to really low health, only to end up with the Game Over screen instead of 'I wont give up' or whatever it says to summon Mickey. Despite this the one thing that I am truely thankful for in situations like fighting Xaldin is the chance to skip the friggn pre-battle movie that seems to get longer and longer every time that you lose.
Which, looping back to my first post, is the main reason why I hate fighting the Stealth Sneak in Deep Jungle. "No Clayton!" "Not Clayton, @#&^, Not Clayton!" See, i've memorised the whole thing

I used to get frustrated with this world as well but i just kept practicing and i eventually managed to get used to it. Just hang in there!

The jumping and vines part were not the bane in Deep Jungle for me. My problem with Deep Jungle was all of the stupid monkey battles. I hated them. I know I can avoid them if I wanted to, but I wanted the experience and munny.

There was just so many monkeys. They weren't even the cute kind of monkey, either.

One world I had trouble with the environment was Monstro. Everything looked the same. I ended up finishing the game, but Monstro took forever. I kept going in the same rooms.

I ended up finishing Deep Jungle. But I haven't played for about a month now lol. Haven't felt like it.

I also hate those Heartless with the bouncy bellies

And I know it's because Disney was involved, but it annoys me how everyone's shoes are really huge!

I'm having trouble getting into this game. I've played it before, but I wanted to replay so I'm up to speed before I play Kingdom Hearts 2.
