    Gta v

I'm sure most of you know, but for those living under a rock GTA V was announced just recently, first trailer came soon after that.

I'm glad I'm gonna roam through Los Santos once again, main place of business of my favorite game in GTA series, San Andreas. Speaking of San Andreas, it would be great if you could encounter or work with some of the main characters from San Andreas, like CJ perhaps. It would be also great if you could customize your character beyond the outfit, but I highly doubt that would happen. I'm sure there will be enough mini games and chances to goof off as with every GTA game, if it ends up being half as good as San Andreas I'll be more than happy to play it.

What are your thoughts and expectations of this game?

Ehh, I've never been big on the GTA series. It's something to play, I suppose, but nothing I'm willing to really dedicate my time to. I thought GTA stopped being relevant at San Andreas...maybe I'm wrong and it's just me. Oddly, though, I did love the Scarface game on PS2, which was basically just a glorified GTA game.

Feelings are kinda mixed. I loved GTA 2, 3, San Andreas, and Vice City, but 4....I just couldn't get into. The trailer for V was pretty decent. Think I'll wait to see how it is received by other gamers before picking this one up.

Hopefully they'll get less serious again. Suspect that it will be better than IV.

Watching that trailer makes me feel like an excited kid again. I love the whole series and while I enjoyed the sombre tone and realistic gunplay and driving of IV I personally cannot wait to return to the OTT-ness and dynamic nature of the PS2 era GTAs. If they bring pack the RPG elements, jumpjets and modifiable vehicles that would be great.

As long as I can bring the character to Cluckin Bell and get him up to 300+ pounds a la San Andreas and struggle to hurdle fences I will be extremely happy. Even more so if you could get him to fly out the windshield when you drive into a wall.

    Re: Gta v

I am hoping they retain most of the elements from IV. I think IV is probably one my favourites of the series (although if Roman didn't call you every half hour to see if you wanted to go bowling it would have been the best). I think the gun combat was the best of the series.

Also I'm not as excited about the setting as I should be. I was hoping that they would go the same route as before and make Vice City the next city. San Andreas was the one I couldn't get into the most, but I will be sitting here hopeful.

Either way, I am just glad they have finally announced it.

IV felt way too serious business for my tastes, ANd chinatown wars being more than a little boring, GTA has all but died in my eyes. But with V going back to San andreas, (One can only hope that we can also visit San fierro and Las Venturas again. ) I may just give the series another go.

Grand Theft Auto games aren't something I normally play. I only bought them to give my brother something to play. In fact, I have only completed two Grand Theft Auto games. Well, one game (GTA: Liberty City Stories) and one expansion (The Ballad of Gay Tony). Regardless, this game looks entertaining. I may have to play it one day, but I am not in a tizzy over it.

I would like to finish the other GTA titles I have (III, Vice City, San Andreas, and Vice City Stories) first. I just can't get into them enough to finish them. I am fine for about 20 missions, then lose interest.

Also, hopefully this is a sign that Rockstar will release GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas in HD with trophies like they have done with loads of different games. I'd like to experience III and Vice City again on my PS3.
