Persona 4 Arena. Who has it, who's getting it? I've only had it for two days now, but it's growing on me fast. Chafed my left middle finger with my PS3 controller on the first day.

I'm playing Chie a lot. Elizabeth also seems cool. Not sure who else I'm into... Teddie is ****ing nuts, like Arakune from BlazBlue, except with regular movement. Double would be another example. He's everywhere. Naoto is also cool.

It's like BlazBlue Lite and hella more friendly. They give you one auto combo that you can do by mashing Square over and over, which I, as someone who came out of playing BlazBlue, feels cheapens the experience a bit, but it lets players do something awesome without having to memorize combos. So yeah, it's cool.

One thing I am happy about is that they simplified the movesets for each character. They're nearly identical to one another (inputs are 95% quarter circles haha), so it's easy to pick up and play different characters without having to the move list every single goddamn time. Each character has a special ability (counters, healing, etc.). Nothing as involved as BB, but it helps separate the characters quite a bit.

I'm not sure if the original BB had a challenge mode either, but P4A does, and it's basically an awesome tutorial thing that demonstrates simple and complex combos alike then lets you do them.

As I haven't beaten P4, I'm avoiding story and arcade mode like the plague, but from I hear it's a sequel. Lots of crazy stuff going on. It is great fun I hear.

Anyone can pick up this game. It's simple and fun, but can get as complex as BB for those who like that sort of thing.
