    Goldeneye 007

So we all know from E3 there are going to be a Goldeneye remake for the Wii and its also heading to the DS. Both will feature multiplayer both online and offline and there will be other new features such as voice acting, better controls, new moves, and cutscenes. So whos planning on picking up this title this November? I'm definitely diving in.

My cousin just told me about this about 3 hours ago. I am so excited since I used to spent countless hours multiplayering it up. Although my cousin only saw Single Player, he heard the multiplayer is good. My cousin is a video game tester, he tells me a lot of updates.

As long as they keep the multiplayer just as fresh as it was in the original, I can't wait! I could hold down the whole facility map like it was my job haha.

It will most likely be that way. It'd be awesome to do some online deathmatch or whatever mode online with fellow TFFers. Goldeneye is, in my opinion, one of the best shooters ever. Wonder if it will best Halo and CoD in terms of current FPS technology and gameplay?

Thats what I want to see.

I doubt that. If it's anything like the Perfect Dark HD remake then it'll just be Goldeneye with upped graphics and maybe the physics tweaked for updation and that it maybe. Not sure gotta wait and find out.

It's absolutely crucial to get the Wiimote controls perfect for this to be good.

I stream Bloodborne, FFXIV, and occasionally other games.

Yeah, it'd kill the nostalgia if you can't even aim straight. But with some of the new Wii Motion crap it's gotten to be pretty accurate and not too far from perfectly calibrated. Our Wii died recently, but if we can get a replacement by that time I definitely plan on getting it. I can remember watching my dad play it on the 64 way back whenever and wanting to play it but being too little lol

If I had a Wii I might partake in this trip back in time, but I don't, so I won't.

Hell yeah honestly this game would be way better on 360 or PS3 cause of the controls.

    Re: Goldeneye 007

I was honestly surprised when this title was announced as a Wii exclusive. I didn't think that the game developers would do that. It would be nice to see Goldeneye on all 3 systems, but only time will tell.

So while this game is close to being released, anyone want to set up a friends list or something so we can gather everyone who will play online?

what kind of ridiculous question is that. of course im picking it up. its especially fun to go through love/hate relationships in multiplayer when you just want to kill the person next to you. this game was before perfect dark and the farsight weapon...egh. low the N64 had to have been the best console for parties.

    Re: Goldeneye 007

I would much rather this game be for Xbox/PS3, but if Wii an DS are the only option I guess I will have to live with it.

I will gamefly it first to see if it is good. Then buy it if it is good. If it sucks then I still have my N64 in my closet, break that bitch out an play the original.

    Re: Goldeneye 007

Okay, let's cut back on the one-liners now, guys. I'm looking at you especially, Trodorne (and maybe Rocky, too, though his reworking of chad's original post has more discussion value.) DO NOT respond to the thread about this matter; VM me if you must.

As to the actual topic... I was never a big fan of the game on N64, and not really of FPS's in general. So I don't really have much to say. Seems to me that aiming with the wiimote might be more fun than using a traditional controller, though, although I'm aware there have been various games for the Wii that have done this and not been universally praised. Anyhoo...

Having the WiiBlaster for this game will make it 10 times easier then with just the Wiimote. If you haven't used the WiiBlaster at all, then you should for at least the game it comes with haha. I really hope they make some new maps, as well as remakes and updates of the current maps.

Wiiblaster is crap and doesn't really do anything. I prefer to hold the controller+nunchuck separately.

This game will hopefully use the nunchuk to move around and the Wiimote to open doors/shoot/reload or something.

Aim right + nunchuck stick left would be strafe left hopefully, or some brilliant shit.

    .
I am gonna assume that is how it will be. It seems logical. Anything else would just confuse the shit out of people.

Also I was not a huge fan Wii Blaster either.

I have to agree, the wii blaster is crap. im better off doing what is did in Modern Warfare for the Wii and just have the wii mote in one hand and the nunchuck in the other. YEAH PAINTBALL!

I'm still afraid of this game but its looking better every day. Its good that they didn't completely try to remake everything because it would have failed. Its good to know that they made it a new game in it's own way.
