What's your favorite platform from the last generation?
Okay. Let's go ahead and disqualify PC from this question, because it transcends the regular definition of console generations.
What I want to know is this: which system was your favorite piece of hardware in what is now considered the previous generation? This DOES include handheld systems, for what it's worth.

Handhelds always tend to bridge console gaps, so I opted for the newer models here.
