    Games of 2012

Which game/s are you looking forward to most this year and why?

If we're to judge by trailers and screenshots alone BioShock Infinite would be the best game of 2012. First one was simply amazing, one of the best shooters I ever played and this one looks ten times better.

I'm also looking forward to Street Fighter x Tekken, huge fan of both series and Capcom's great when it comes to combining two different universes so I'm kinda curious how will this turn out. I'm also excited to go through last chapter of Shepard's story, first Mass Effect was a masterpiece, second one great as well, so here's hoping they combine best of both, although we'll find that out pretty soon.

A few of the titles look interesting, though I know I wont buy them, I don't have an xbox or ps3 but my brother does. But I wouldn't mind trying out a few of the games.

gtav looks insane! I've seen a few trailers and it looks like they have yet again took gta to a new level.
Also halo 4 should be another good title. I followed the first one and 3, I know my brother will be all over that game anyway.

Also I'd be curious to see Tekken v Street Fighter. Probably the two best fighting games. Although I think Tekken has lost its charm over the years. After tekken 2 things went a little weird, with the gameplay... still deadly games but I think 2 was the best.

No Max Payne?!?!? That and Kid Icarus are the only games that im looking forward too, everything else on the list has been done to death or the series is a reoccurring let down

Weird considering 3 is the greatest Tekken to date, i played the first 3 of them to death and 3 had the best stories, graphics and moves, whomping the previous 2 Tekkens. After 3 it went to shit however

Also Soul Calibur is prob my fav beat em up of all time, they need to keep making them

Too bad you didnt have The Last Story on your list as that is the game I have most been looking forward to personally.

From the list, I am looking forward to Bioshock Infinite, GTA V and Hitman Absolution.
Bioshock is really self explainatory. The atmosphere in those games just permeates through the screen. And if anything, the chemistry between the characters should improve the ambience.
I have been blown away by every GTA installment(bar the psp ones and chinatown wars) since number 3. I dont see any reason why 5 should be any different. Should hopefully be a lot more dynamic than 4.
Hitman is really the wild card. I absolutely loved Blood Money and Contracts on the PS2 but this seems like a major makeover for the series. But Deus Ex has shown gems from previous generations can work with new formulas on the current consoles. I have high hopes but low expectations.

    From the list

Diablo III everyone has been waiting for forever. To be a little honest after playing the beta, Diablo to me just isn't what it use to be. I guess its more so the genre of the game has just lost its interest to me. Its still fun, but i don't think it will ever compare to 2.

Halo 4. I'm excited to see how 343i handles this game. But its halo, expect a mediocre campaign and the best multiplayer.

    Off the list:
Tera - a very interesting twist on modern MMO's. Third person shooting that is.
Metro 2034 - I'm honestly a little saddened that they didn't choose to follow the story line of the books, but i haven't read the second book due to it being Russian. Maybe it just didn't have enough action to turn it into a game. All in all, i really loved the first game and am highly anticipating the second.
Kingdom Hearts 3D - Its kingdom hearts do i need to say more?

^ Metro 2034 is actually going to be dubbed "Metro: Last Light." And since THQ is in financial peril (and looking to dissolve some of their studios) it might never surface. T'would be most disappointing, since Metro 2033 was EPIC.

As for games on the list... HEART OF THE MODDA FOCKIN' SWARM. StarCraft FO EVAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm looking forward to see how Street Fighter vs Tekken works out. Both are pretty iconic, although i'm leaning more towards Tekken as my favourite series.

The character line up looks good, i'd love to do a match between Jin and Ryu.

I forgot about the name change
I would be pretty disappointed if it got the cut.
Strange though, the wiki page has metro last light as releasing it in the summer of 2012. Though THQ's wiki has it listed for release in 2013.
