When you look at the controls and in-game maneuvers. Shortly after Prince of Persia, the new Tomb Raider game (at the time, this was Legend) came out sporting the whole hanging off thin ledges and jumping from one to the other upwards or downwards.

Lara seemed to have taken some trainning lessons from the protagonist of Prince of Persia.

Then of course you have Uncharted. Drake and Lara had a fling, she taught him Prince of Persia moves and then he dumped her for some treasure. Ah, showbiz.
