Favorite Mana/Seiken Densetsu title

Which game out of the mana/seiken densetsu series is your all time favorite? Mine would have to be Secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu 2. Not only did I grow up on that game but I really enjoyed the storyline, battle system was good but had a few issues, the game's soundtrack is something i still listen to today, and this game was the first in the mana series to incorporate multiplayer co-op.

Heard many great things about Seiken Densetsu franchise, unfortunately I only played one tittle, Sword of Mana for GBA. It's an excellent game, reminds me a lot of Chrono Trigger, loved the gameplay and characters, though story could have been much better in my opinion, not that it's bad.

I've only played the one game, Secret of Mana, and I love it. I love how over the top the colours are. I also like how the main character is so inept at the beginning.

Yet to complete it but I expect great things from the rest of the game.

I've played Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana, Legend of Mana, and Children of Mana.

Of those, Secret of Mana was the overall best. Legend of Mana I felt had better gameplay and nice visuals, but was lacking otherwise.

The other two are not so great.

I can't remember if I've played Seiken Densetsu 3.

SD3 was my favorite, it had a lot of replayablity and the game was fun to play through with 3 different main story arcs, depending on who the main character is. Legend of Mana was my second favorite, me and my friend plowed through the game in middle school together, it was good times.
