I definitely am, I want to hear everything about the new zelda, the new FF titles would be good to hear about as well, and aren't there going to be info on the upcoming KH titles as well?
Anyone going to keep up with this year's E3 event that's happening next week (June 15-17)? Any titles that you're wanting to hear more about, or maybe any announcements that you're expecting?
I think G4 is doing their live coverage of the event, though Lord only knows how long ago I've tuned into that station. Pretty sure that tons of other websites will have their own coverage and updates as things progress as well. Checked around for a bit, and apparently, Nintendo will be streaming their press conference live over this website:

Couldn't find a similar one for Sony or Microsoft, so if anyone else has a link to share, I'll edit it in.

EDIT: Schedule of Press Conference Date and Time:
EA - June 14th, 2pm PST (5pm EST)
Ubisoft - June 14th, 5pm PST (5pm EST)
Microsoft Natal pre-briefing - June 13th TBD
Microsoft - June 14th, 10:30am PST (1:30pm EST)
Nintendo - June 15th, 9am PST (12pm EST)
Sony - June 15th, 12pm PST (3pm EST)
Microsoft Natal MTV show - June 15th, 6:30 PST (3:30 EST)
I'm really wanting to hear more about The Last Story, The Last Guardian (also if that rumor about releasing Ico and Shadow of the Colossus in HD for the PS3 is true or not), The new Zelda game for the Wii, and some more info about FF Versus XIII and Agito would be nice too. Those are definitely my big five (six if counting the rumor), but anything else that related to Sony or Nintendo I'll likely tune in for or check out when the internet gets the info.

If it has nothing to do with the next Jedi Knight game, I don't care what E3 has to offer. The Elder Scrolls V has been a rumor for E3 as well....Zelda Wii looks cool but I can wait for that, not that big of a deal. I just mainly want ESV and JK4.

Haha, good on you for making this thread. I was debating doing so, but I really thought about how many threads I've made and just chuckled.
And it starts on the 14th I believe. At least, Microsoft has a press conference scheduled for that day, which I can only assume is their official conference. Also, G4's coverage starts on that day.
I'll likely be watching via G4 as I can tape it and watch it at my leisure, but I'm pretty sure both Spike and Game Trailers are airing the event as well.
I look forward to this every year, so yeah, I'm psyched. This is better than Christmas for me.
Edit: Just confirmed via Wikipedia (if that can count as confirmation). Microsoft press conference is Monday the 14th. They also apparently have a separate showing on Sunday the 13th which will be mostly dedicated to Natal. The 15th likely refers to when the show floor opens.

Until now!
This is what I'm mainly looking out for, too. Especially the Zelda game. The art work that I saw got me wondering about what the girl could be but I guess every fan of the Zelda series was thinking that too!
I would also love to here more about Kingdom Hearts. I keep hearing stories about new games in the works... It's got me excited!
A little more news on the latest Gears of War game would be nice. I mean, it's not on my list of favourites but I suppose I need to know because my friends annoy me all the time with playing Gears of War 2. Argh...
My things:
I'll be going at this place: http://spoonyexperiment.com/2010/06/...-announcement/
For my E3 coverage. From what I read on Wiki, Saints Row 3 is rumored to be announced, but I won't hold my breath.
And as far as anything else... I won't know until Spoony covers it. xD;
If we're promoting sites, then I'll promote Epic Battle Axe because those guys are also covering E3 and they're awesome.
Represent, naggers!
Until now!
I hadn't heard the rumor of ES5, though I'd love to believe it's true, I'm running out of things left to do in Oblivion before I achieve 100% completion... I could use a new game to pick up become obsessed with and become enraged with all the glitches it will no doubt have.
I look forward to hearing about Zelda Wii, and any other serious titles coming out for the console. Seriously, I'm getting tired of all this gimmicky crap, I want more Zeldas and Metroids and shit.
Anything KH or FF related I of course want to hear about.
I won't be watching the coverage when it's airing, but I've already got my DVR set to record it.

Elder Scrolls 5 has been a rumour for quite some time now, so I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. I've been doing it for a few years now and it's starting to hurt.
I'm really excited about the Last Guardian, but I'm absolutely DYING to know more about the new Zelda. I have some second hand information that a reliable source has pretty much confirmed that it will be making a showing of some sort, so let's hope it's something more than a teaser.
Until now!
I never hold my breath too long for anything unconfirmed. The lovely purple skin tone just isn't worth the oxygen deprivation...

First and foremost, I must say I'm most excited about Marvel vs Capcom 3. Guaranteed Gameplay footage and more character reveals.
Then there's the 3DS. Really curious about the details.
I have to say I'm NOT really that excited for Zelda Wii. But, maybe if they release a trailer, I'll probably be hooked
And of course any other surprises for E3 would sure be nice! Can't wait!
I'm interested to see what Sony has to offer. Do they really have more surprises to offer than Infamous 2, Little Big Planet 2 and Killzone 3 which were revealed in the last few weeks (not that any of them were actually surprises) or did they just blow their load prematurely? PSP2 mayhaps?
And what the hell is Microsoft doing? Haven't heard a peep out of them that doesn't contain the neologism "Natal". I really worry that they're going to show a casual fest. Hopefully they'll have some epic surprises for us cores.
Until now!
Natal just makes me fear that Microsoft will start suffering from the Nintendo syndrome. Better known as the 'innovative=fun' theory. I hope I'm wrong, I really don't want to see another company focusing half its resources on gimmicky shit.

Oh yea....Marvel vs Capcom 3....I can play as Dante, and Deadpool!
Project Natal isn't much of a worry for me. They aren't goin to make it their primary use for the system.

I think the #1 thing I really hope they reveal with the game will be who's voicing Deadpool. Nolan North from the Wolverine vs Hulk movie or John Kassir, his longtime voice from the XMen Legends and Ultimate Alliance games. I'm really pulling for the latter. Plus, I just want to see this lifebar attack he's confirmed to have.
Don't be so sure of that. They've been pushing this thing to an uncomfortable degree. They're making it out as if they're about to completely relaunch their system. Almost like its a re-branding. That could just be an excess amount of hype, but on the other hand, it could signal a complete change of focus. They've already made it clear that their goal is beyond core gaming - they're looking to dominate the living room.

Not to mention the rumored price tag of like $150 for it. I hear some people justifying a price like that because if you buy 4 Wiimotes and parts it'll be more than that. But it is still an option to buy 4, you don't have to spend $200 if you don't want to. It also doesn't help that it is easier to convince someone to buy in small parts than a whole deal that maybe a better deal, but looks really expensive on the out set.
And if I'm not mistaken most of the E3 since Microsoft has joined has had conferences where Microsoft was earlier than the other two and Nintendo and Sony were both on opening day. I don't know, but being on opening day might be a little better since it's still fresh in your mind.
I'll just be streaming the Sony conference on the day since the press conference is the only thing I'm interested in seeing. I don't get G4 anymore so I don't really want to spend a day looking for people playing games. I'll just pick out the ones I want to see a few days later after everything is available on gametrailers or youtube.

Heh. Elder Scrolls 5; I wonder where they'd go next for that, and what happens now that there's no more king. Maybe we'd get a game about a war for Tamriel, without its ruler. But yeah; they did just put Fallout 3 out in the last couple years or so (it was '08, right?) May be a little while before we see another title from them, thoguh I'd love another Elder Scrolls game. Hopefully they bring back things they took away that they shouldn't have in Oblivion, in the next one.
Kinda looking forward to the next Zelda, and maybe Marvel vs. Capcom 3, though not too worried about it; I've got a huge backlog of games I need to play... Still, probably poke around one of those links, or look in a magazine, to see what the word is this year. Speaking of MvC3, someone was talking about the voice actors. Didn't they use the voice actors from the old 90's cartoons for the last one? That was pretty cool. Anyhoo...
Wuv, Yer Mom
You're not missing much, G4 coverage of the the most recent E3's have been horrendous: 1-2 minutes of coverage then 1-2 minutes of commercials and this goes on for their whole coverage excluding the the big three (Microsoft, Nintendo, & Sony) press conferences though one year they went to commercials for the Halo: ODST or Reach trailer, or was it Halo 3 I can't remember.
Last year I watched the big three confrences via Gamespot and I may do the same again, dunno. As for what I'm looking forward to:
The Last Story
Xenoblade
Update on Final Fantasy XIV, maybe some footage or gameplay (it originally is supposed to be released later this year).
Final Fantasy Versus XIII info and/or gameplay/footage
Final Fantasy Agito XIII info and/or gameplay/footage
Update on GOLDEN SUN DS!!!!!!
I remember reading, a few months ago, that Nomura said that there were 5 titles to be announced at E3, so I'm looking forward to their revelation.
Dragon Quest VI DS for America release date and maybe some gameplay.
Would it be too much to ask for some early footage of Dragon Quest X?
Finally, my biggest hope would be the announcement of Shadow Hearts 4. C'mon, the Nazis would make for a perfect story/enemy since the series is about warping history with magic and the Nazis actually did try to find mystical items and also the Indiana Jones movies.
Oh, a few more things:
Persona 5
Information on the game "Fortress" from Square Enix and...
Something on Final Fantasy Haeresis XIII.
Main series FFs Beaten - FF: 4x, FFII: 3x, FFIII: 3x, FFIV: 3x, FFV: 3x, FFVI: 4x, FFVII: 5x, FFVIII: 5x, FFIX: 3x, FFX: 4x, FFXII: 3x, FFXIII: 2x, FFXV: 2x
I tried to keep up with it live last year, but I was always out when the good stuff happened. >>;
This year, I want to be there to watch any information on Fallout: New Vegas, Saints Row 3, The Last Guardian, Elder Scrolls V, Versus and Agito. Perhaps The Sims 3... what?
Me and Fallout 3 got rather attached in the last few years, so I want to see what they've done with New Vegas. Already I'm liking the sound of that game... if I can, I'll be getting the Special Edition. I got converted to Saints Row 2 last week, despite not being convinced that I'd like it. It's quite a fun game. Like a more jokey GTA. The Last Guardian has been one hell of a tease for the last few years. I want more information! Elder Scrolls V because I liked two of the previous ES games. Versus and Agito for obvious reasons. The Sims 3 because I'm a fan.

I can't wait for E3 o10, i can't actually go because i live in NZ, but there are a few games/consoles i ould like to hear about;
The new 3ds; (I love my old dsl, but the control pad stopped working and ff3 is the only game i can play on it now cause of it's touch screen functionality) bacause i'm thinking about buying one and ca'nt wait for light to be shed on them. . .like their release dates.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep; I've played the japanese version of this game and love it, i hope that the NZ release dates are announced, i love the KH series and action RPG's!

Pretty excited, I'm not really going to watch much. Probably just read an acticle or two about it. I do have a friend who produces games for WB, so he will be hocking some sleezy Scooby-doo game there. He did say he was gonna walk around and see what kinda swag he could get me though so hopefully I can get some cool stuff that way. As for things I am looking to hear about, mostly just Final Fantasy Versus. A new system or some new gadget is always cool to hear about too. I just dont keep up to date on the lastest games or what happens all that well. I usually dont hear about stuff till my brother says something to me.
Scene from a movie.
SPOILER!!:
I'll keep track of this years E3, looking forward to few tittles, mostly for PC and PSP. I would like to hear more about F.E.A.R. 3, ID's new game Rage and some details on Doom 4. Looking forward to Deus EX Human Revolution, heard it's gonna be prequel to the first one. Like to see what Blizzard has to say regarding Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2, hope they're not gonna push Starcraft's 2 release date again.
As for PSP, Final Fantasy XIII Agito and Parasite Eve 3rd Birthday, release date for 3rd birthday perhaps. Speaking of Final Fantasy I would like to know are there any truth behind the Final Fantasy V and VI remake rumors, if so for which platform, maybe new DS. That's about it, I'll keep an eye for news regarding other games (new Zelda, Fable III, Portal 2) but this is about it.

So it's about an hour and forty minutes into Microsoft's press conference and I want to vomit. This is a joke. Of the hour and forty minutes, over an hour has been dedicated to Nat...I mean "Kinect". All the core games were shoved into the first 20 minutes or so and only one of them was not previously announced (and no gameplay was shown of the surprise game). They've got 15 minutes left as I'm finishing this post and as I watch a dancing game being showcased, the prospects of a recovery looks grim.
I think I might cry. I hope Sony doesn't go down this route.
Edit: Nope, didn't get any better. Xbox Slim is great and all, but...where's the games? I mean the non-Wii games.

Microsoft, I am dissapoint.
Is it just me, or have all three companies been giving really shitty conferences in recent years? Last year I almost didn't even want to watch the whole thing, getting the same feeling this year.
For Our Lord Sheogorath, without Whom all Thought would be linear and all Feeling would be fleeting. Blessed are the Madmen, for they hold the keys to secret knowledge. Blessed are the Phobic, always wary of that which would do them harm. Blessed are the Obsessed, for their courses are clear. Blessed are the Addicts, may they quench the thirst that never ebbs. Actually, I thought the conferences last year were pretty good. The motion control garbage was restrained and for the first time in a while, Sony had an excellent line up. Microsoft's was a bit too non-gamer focused for my tastes, but they at least had the games too. They did nothing for me this year.
Until now!
I'm with Jin that Microsoft wasn't that impressive, as the games that were shown were already known about and in-turn lacked shock-value. Then came the Kinect portion - which was pretty long - and I still have questions about this new technology and what they showed gives nothing to me. As Jin aptly put it, they showed a bunch of Wii games. That dance game seemed pretty interesting and I know my friend will love to get his hands on that, but he doesn't have a 360; perhaps he'll get the new slim model?? Which as a plus for them, Microsoft is shipping out today and should be available later this week and the new model will be $299. I expect from this new model that the 360 may for the first time since the Slim PS3 came out, that the 360 will sell more globally in a week. Of course, that depends on what Sony has up their sleeves and it would not be hard to surpass Microsoft this year.
I'm also in agreement with Jin about last year's E3 which had some pretty good conferences, especially Sony. Golden Sun DS was announced last year at the Nintendo conference and Final Fantasy XIV was revealed at Sony's as well. The latter was a "huh? what? Final Fantasy XIV? Oh sh*t!!!" moment.
As a final note, I did like the MGS: Rising video where Raiden cut the enemy up multiple times in mid-air and Raiden cutting the watermelon as well.
Main series FFs Beaten - FF: 4x, FFII: 3x, FFIII: 3x, FFIV: 3x, FFV: 3x, FFVI: 4x, FFVII: 5x, FFVIII: 5x, FFIX: 3x, FFX: 4x, FFXII: 3x, FFXIII: 2x, FFXV: 2x
Its not the 15-17 its the 14-17 because of the Live Press Conference for the first two days then on the last two days is the Floor Coverage.
I can't wait for Sony to begging tomorrow and I thought Microsoft was gay, i mean come on, Sony started all that with the PS Eye and i mean, come on, Microsoft cant really do anything right, they got lucky with FFXIII because Square Enix really didn't want to go multi-platform but decided to just to experiment, I'm not trying to dis on the Xbox, but I just don't like it as much as the PS3.
Infinity Ward signing with EA is a good thing because they now get recognized for what they make and Activision can't take anything away from them, it's Activisions fault for letting the new CoD developers ruin it w/ Black Ops... IW didn't deserve to be trashed on by Activision.
Dead Space 2 from EA looks AMAZING, same w/ Old Republic, those games look great.

Ubisoft has new games coming such as Raving Rabbids in time, Driver, and Rayman Orgins. Also Assassins Creed Brotherhood looks well done and will be a good addition to Assassins Creed series.
Can't wait till tomorrow to see what Nintendo and Sony will have.
When do you think Konami will be doing their Live Press Conference?

I really didnt get too much into 1-3, I got about halfway through 6, didnt play 9 that much, and played 12 at a friends house.
I agree Microsoft's conference sucked, but you sound like a fool.
