Index, the parent company to Atlus, which Sega now owns, revealed the shipment numbers for Dragon's Crown and Persona 4 Golden. They specifically state there are shipments, not sell through, which is the difference of being in retailers hands versus in consumer's hands. However, the numbers also include the digital sales, which are actual purchases. Given, it is not likely for them to greatly over ship copies of the games, the numbers are close to sell through numbers.
Dragon's Crown managed 800,000 units so far since it's Summer release, with Persona 4 Golden hitting 700,000 units since it's release last year. Noteably, it is a good sign for Vanillaware with Dragon's Crown.
