Dragon Quest XI Coming PS4, NX and 3DS

Square Enix announced the latest Dragon Quest game with both a preview of the game running and expected platforms. Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time will be released for the Playstation 4 and Nintendo 3DS, additionally Dragon Quest X and XI are being worked on for the newest Nintendo home console the NX.

Visually, the PS4 and 3DS versions of the game will be different with different studio helping out on them. The 3DS version of the game will have a super-deformed style and have both 3D and 2D. The bottom screen will have familiar classic Dragon Quest in 2D. Players will be able to switch between the two styles.



The Playstation 4 version will be a fully 3D world with height being a larger factor now along with elevation. They also aim to have the NPCs and world feel livelier.
