Current Multiplayer FPS for PS3?

Which fps do you play online right now? I was playing Killzone, but I tried playing last night and 4/5 games I got into was just sniper vs sniper. I hate sniper games more than anything...

So I am looking to get another FPS, to play online against other people.

I'm not really picky about things just don't wanna jump into a hardcore small community where Ill get my ass handed to me.

Have any of you tried Bulletstorm or Crysis 2? How about Homefront? Any suggestions and why you like the current game you play the most would be helpful

Man, I was heavily addicted to MAG for a while (all hail the mighty SVER).
Why? Well, the sides were MASSIVE, it actually felt like a war sometimes. And each side had to come up with it' own strategies for defending any given map which really added to the appeal. In fact, the only reason I stopped playing was I'm not normally that heavy on FPS games.

People will hate on popular games, but they are popular for a reason, being CoDBO.
Call of Duty Black ops. It's a fast paced Arcade style War FPS game. The whole point is gaining killstreaks and wrecking the other team, or at least 4 me.
The game is highly popular and has a high amount of n00bs so you don't have to worry about being sucky at first.

Problem with MAG is the long wait times. I am not sure if that has changed in the last few months though.

Crysis 2 is a really good game, I recommended it for FPS players.

I was going to buy CoD:BO but the guy at the store said 80% of the people that play it, just kill zombies on it. I'm not looking to play the single player of these games, I just wanna get online and shoot some people. That said I dont wanna run around a board while invisible snipers shoot kill me(killzone 3).

I read a review of Crysis 2 that said the multiplayer had similar issue's to Killzone 3 with overpowered "classes"?!?! They werent wrong about it being the best looking fps on the market right now though.

Seriously that guy has no idea what he was talking about. There is an online statistics spread sheet and it shows literally the opposite. I can't even get into a zombies game because the lack of people.

Haha so true.

What that guy means is that 80% is probably the people playing Zombies on split screen or already have a group.

I'm not a huge FPS person, but even I would like to pick up Black Ops, MAG, Crysis 2 and Brink.

I've played Black Ops with my brother online on his Xbox, and it's a lot of fun. We've never played zombies together, and I rarely see him playing zombies with his friends either. Seems that guy has an issue with zombie games, in my opinion. But anyway. I've had a lot of fun playing Black Ops, and I'd quite like to play with my friends - they've been pestering me for months anyway, so I'll cave eventually.

Brink looks to be a load of fun. It crosses Mirror's Edge with Call of Duty. But I might wait until nearer the release date to see if it's something I'd really like (I have too many games to fight my way through at the moment).

I don't know how many people still play it, but Far Cry 2 used to be a lot of fun for me. I've even made a couple of maps; I loved playing around in the map editor feature more than anything else, haha.
