This thread is based on one of the more terrifying nightmares I've ever had. EVER! I woke up just so I could transcribe this madness. Don't ask me how my subconscious fused these two ideas together. I don't know! Nor do I wish to know.

Choose two different game elements/objects/abilities/characters/whatever from any two different games and combine them to form a more powerful hybrid. Ideally they are similar enough in concept that one can reasonably augment the other, but don't be limited by this. Your hybrid can be potentially game-breaking; it can also be benevolent or devastating. For example, here is my worst nightmare come to life:
The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim - A Dovahkiin, or Dragonborn, possesses the ability to speak the ancient tongue of dragons who once occupied Tamriel. Their spoken word echoes across the land as they command their great power.
+
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Navi is the annoying fairy companion tasked by the Great Deku Tree to aid Link in his adventures throughout the lands of Hyrule. Her words echo in the back of your mind as you read this sentence.
_____________
The end result - Navihkiin, a fairy who possesses the gift of the dragons and can shout loud enough for the world to hear: "HEY! LISTEN! WATCH OUT! HEY! HELLO? LISTEN!"
Hero façade. Villain at heart.
