Of course Bungie is going to be left on the ground, they aren't a producer like Activision. Activision already works with Blizzard. They just want more money. It's how business works.
Bungie has signed with Activision to start making PS3 releases. The contract will start right after the release of Halo: Reach and I have a bad feeling about this, because we all know that Activision has the rights to Guitar Hero and as of late CoD, but I believe Activision will take the rights of whatever this new franchise is and leave Bungie picking up the scraps on the floor and starting anew with a different company within 5-10 years when the contract ends.
What do you guys think about Bungie doing this? Do you think its a good idea or do you think they were just plain stupid to sign with Activision. Please leave your thoughts and I will try and not argue with what you believe.

This is old news. Bungie signed with them months ago. The only new story today is that they took out an advert looking for someone with PS3 experience. But it was already known that their next project will be a multiplatform release.
From what I recall, Bungie signed a pretty reasonable deal with Activision. Similar to EA partners, Bungie will keep all the rights to their IP (which obviously will not be Halo as Microsoft owns the rights to that). Activision does not own Bungie and will not be able to do to them what they did with Infinity Ward, nor will they be able to whore out Bungie's games the way they've done with Guitar Hero and CoD. All Activision has is publishing rights. Don't jump the shark.

Until now!

but yeah what Jin said, old news is old.
TIME TO HIJACK THE THREAD!
in RECENT (like the other day) news, Shiska (the guy responsible for the multiplayer playlist overlord guy for Halo 3) has left the company the other day and joined the 343 studio, which has other people from the bungie company jumping ship. I have mixed feelings on this because even though Shishka DID give the OK to implement the MLG playlist in Halo 3, he also refused to believe the overwhelming evidence of people cheating in the halo 3 matchmaking playlists, and did nothing about it, so because of this, there are honest people like me getting hit offline by kids who find my ip through playing me online and then ddos my internet He's also one of the types that will permaban you on the bungie.net forums if you say anything about H1 > H3, no matter how civil you keep the debate. What this impact will have on Halo: Reach, idk yet, but it IS interesting to me at least..
