blood-boiling games

I just started playing Mortal Kombat Armageddon cause my friend let me borrow a bunch of his PS2 games and this game just pisses me off when nothing blocks when I'm holding down the Block Button. Or the fact that the enemy knows what I'm going to do and just does the same move set over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

I have always had that problem with MK games. I will mix my moves up. I will throw some punches that are blocked, but then I throw a kick after the combo, and they magically know to block...bullshit..
