So, out of curiosity, how many of you have copies of old Blizzard games kicking around? With Diablo III around the corner, my interest in games like Diablo and Diablo II have been re-piqued, and somehow I doubt I'm the only one.

Those of you who have any of these games (Diablo I or II, Starcraft, Warcraft) lying around, why not pop 'em in? I think it'd be fun to have a TFF Diablo clan or something like that for sheer nostalgia's sake. Who's with me?

lol I still have my d2x installed on my laptop however I have no CD key for it :/.

I'd be down to play on himatchi though.

I own Warcraft II:battle.net edition and Warcraft III (III used battle.net too, right?) Never played the Diablo or Starcraft games, for some reason. Diablo looked cool, but... *shrug* I might be down with playing some Warcraft II at some point. Anyhoo...

yeah sure let me install D2. Play it for a day and then uninstall it. I play WC3 with friends when they want to ladder. Starcraft 1? Why when I can play SC2.

I installed D2 and played it for about a day or two, then got bored out of my mind. The second one just wasn't as fun as the original... and the third one looks like a WoW clone. I'm not sure if I'll get the third one since it looks like a kiddy game. Diablo was meant to be dark and twisted, not tired Loony Tunes graphics they've been using since Warcraft 3. So yeah, for me it really isn't beckoning. My love of Blizzard went out the door when they sold their souls to the greed devil and started peddling crap for bloated prices. I might play Diablo 1 or Warcraft 1 & 2 for nostalgia sake, but I can't promise anything.

Well, I figure with Diablo III, they're using the same tactic Relic used in Company of Heroes. Up close the graphics look dumbed down and cartoony, but in the isometric viewpoint you're supposed to be seeing them they look normal. I don't think using the in-game graphics in up-close cutscenes really does the game justice, and are a bad move on Blizzard's part. Either way, some of the things I've seen on their youtube channel for it have really got me excited. One of my favorite things about Diablo II was searching for those rare items. It was what kept me coming back (aside from the rush of doing Baal runs with a new character), and it seems like Diablo III is going to have even more of that.
