Awful you say... I love it!

There's a thread about games you're ashamed you have played somewhere here on TFF, but what about terrible games you simply love.

There are quite a few of those I'm afraid, as a kid I used to play terrible games, I still play some of them even today be it for nostalgia kick or maybe the entire world is wrong and they're actually good.

Digimon World 2 - Repetitive game with goddamn awful voice acting, and poor arena design. Digimon World 2 can be described as huge grind fest, with level blockage and forced DNA digivolution Bandai made sure that's all you really did. Why do I love it? First of all, I'm huge Digimon fan, secondly, this game has a bloody good story. Customizing your digi-beetle and option to have any Digimon you want was a nice touch, too.

Spiderman 2 PC version - yea, PC gamers never got the good one, but I enjoyed playing it nevertheless. Then again, I was always a sucker for anything that has Spiderman in it.

I know that the "Dynasty Warriors" series gets a lot of flak from critics and gamers alike, but what can I say, I absolutely love all the games. The perception is that they are rereleasing the same game over and over again except with updated graphics and a few more combos but the way I look at it is, if it aint broke, why fix it? Its the perfect game to relax to playing as it requires no thought. I suppose the cheesy voice acting and terrible dialogue are all a part of the appeal as well.

I really loved SOS: The Final Escape. It really is a badly put together game, but it had some really good ideas, and the story wasn't terrible either. I can think of I Am Alive being like it, only better.

I also like Crush on PSP. I got it for £2.99 at work, minus my discount, and it is pretty cool. The puzzles have you thinking about it for a while, and it's nicely put together.

Um they change more then graphics and a few combos. They change A LOT in every installment.

Also since DW5 the voice acting and dialogue has been nothing but improvement. The only bad Dynasty Warriors was 6, since they literally tried to change the game as a whole.

I can play DW anytime.
