OH MY GOD YES, I never bought any of the expansion content, and I am FAR more likely to actually finish a game if I'm playing it on a handheld. (Irony?) Was there any word on an English-language port?
In a bit of a strange announcement, GUST and Koei Tecmo announced during TGS that they will be porting the second in the Arland series to the Vita. The choice of Totori over the other two is likely because it was the best selling of the Arland series and likely most popular, but does also wonder if the others will be ported if Totori is successful.
The Vita port of Totori will contain all of the DLC from the original release as well as new content. There will be new equipment, recipes and areas. The area of note is Orthogalaxen, which was a dungeon available in Rorona, but not in Totori. Considering that Totori still takes place in the area of Arland, it makes sense to see the dungeon.
In addition, new clothing items will also provide boosts when crafting. So the nurse outfit will improve the crafting of healing items. All the new clothing added will also change Totori's appearance both in game and during scenes. So much like a Tales game, you can see Totori chatting with her friends while in a bikini and no one will bat an eye. Other reveals items are head accessories that replace her usual headpiece.
Curious? There's no limits but your own imagination.

No word one an English release, but it was just recently announced for Japan. Considering that they already have all of the localized content from the original release, I can't imagine it would be much trouble to get a recent for the US. There is more support coming for the Vita, but it is still iffy with the Vita. But I think we have good odds, NISA is good about releasing GUST's game.
