Atelier Shari will Continue the Two Protagonist Setup

Protect A16, the newest Atelier game has a bunch of new details out like a name, Atelier Shari. However, more the surprise is that the two protagonist setup from Escha and Logy will be continuing with Shari, but it will be two girls this time rather than one for each gender. The link between them is that their names can be shortened into nicknames that are Shari, which is similar to past Atelier games where the main characters have longer names, but go by nicknames.

Also the game will feature a controllable player camera, a first for Gust games, which have traditional maintained a fixed camera.

The characters names were also revealed with a little background. Sharistella is a 16 year old alchemist that travels to the oasis town of Stellad with the hope of saving her village. Charlotte Eluminus is a 18 year old alchemist who is poor and currently trying to keep her atelier alive after her father died leaving it to her. Charlotte is seen as a joke of an alchemist by the townspeople.
