Am I the only person that wants a xenogears saga remake?

I am loving the news that some of my favorite games are being remade. There are plenty of games worth while that deserve the jump to the newest consoles but one game that ranks in my top games of all time is xenogears. Saga was alright but fell short of its potential.

I know the mix up between SE and capcom will never let a reboot of the series happen [along with the final chapters being released] but one can hope with all of the remakes that the saga will be remade.

So the question is: am I the only one that wants it to be remade?

I don't believe Capcom has any involvement. Square Enix still has the IP ownership of Xenogears as far as I know. So if Square wanted to make a Xenogears remake then they could. It is just that most of the team that were key to the game are at Monolith now, which is owned by Nintendo. So it is does happen it would be people that never worked on the game.

But I always say that the one game that deserves a remake more than any other is Xenogears because of the second disc alone. They need to properly finish it.

Never got the chance to play it outside of emulation, would gladly pay for it as well as a Xenosaga HD collection but unfortunately I don't see either of them happening.
