Centra Continent - Throughout the years there have been numerous places that people call home, as time has progressed some homes have grown and flourished turning into palaces and entire kingdoms while on the other hand some have turned to rubble by the ever-shifting sands of time. Taking a look back through time some of the mightiest kingdoms are buried under mountains and lost in the forests that have reclaimed what was theirs from the get go.

Located on the southern most peninsula on the Centra continent, there lies the skeleton of a home. This home was a founding point for some of the world’s strongest heroes. This house belongs to none other then Edea “Matron” Kramer.

This was home to Edea and her husband Cid Kramer for many years and served as an orphanage. It was founded during the Sorceress War, taking in children that lost their parents due to the tragedies that occurred during that era, the children were given hope and a place to truly call home. Now this grand old house sits in shambles since Edea abandoned it during her time of possession. Before hand her orphans where split up and adopted all over the world. Her house has fallen over the years of abandonment but there is still the glimmer of hope that has returned to this little chunk of land.

Edea has appeared once again to reclaim what is hers, along side her husband they plan on reopening the orphanage and finally settling down and having some children of their own. Many of the house’s familiar faces have returned to pay homage and tribute to the place that they once called home. Even Squall Leonheart, the leader and commander of Balamb Garden, has been seen wondering the dusty old settlement. His ties to this estate are still unclear at the moment.

Once the orphanage is operational again, Edea has decided to start an academic fund to ensure all of her “little loved ones” have a chance to attend a real university or to follow their own path into one of the Gardens.

The previous blue prints of the structures were lost through out the years, so the new prints where drawn up from Edea’s memories. Special additions will made to the main house to not only bring the house up to a modern standard but also to give it that special feel of home for each and every one of the new orphans that will call this their home. Cid has also thrown in a few ideas to raise the appeal; including statues of various previous orphans, a hiking trail named “Chickenwuss”, and a working water fountain with the inscription “If you come here, you will find me” scribed into it.

So with another chance at life all will see if this house can truly stand the tests of time.
