Quina's First Annual Epicurean Challenge

Alexandria – Gaia - The people of Alexandria where in for a tasteful treat when it was announced that Master Chef Quina Quen would be hosting one of the greatest food challenges ever known in Gaia, other master chefs and would be country cooks gathered from all over to see if they could take the first place prize of 100,000 gil and a Gastro Fork home with them.

At the start of the day there where a few mishaps as the Ifirit Hellfire 3000 series grills were fired up, but as the day progressed the scent of success was in the air. Onlookers where astounded with some of the recipes that were being concocted and all were pleased with the delightful free samples that were provided.

But at the end of the day only one chef could be chosen as the victor, and the judges could not decide so the three way tie was intervened when Master Chef Quina had to step in as the deciding tie breaker. After a few plates of each of the challengers dishes Master Chef Quina announced that the Chocolate Mu, created by retired actor Lowell Bridges, was the delight of the day and stated that, “This item will make you sing a joyous song as you digest this masterpeice of culinary perfection,” loosly transtaled of course.

Mr Bridges dedicated the dish to the deceased Queen Brahne, his unknown love, in his acceptance speech and was later spotted leaving the event disguised in a Cactuar costume to avoid his adoring fans.

The two runners up, Stiltzkin and Regent Cid Fabool IX, where pleased with the result as their Moogle Pie and Fruit Malboro Cocktail where still amongst the award winners
