Vent server?

I was thinking, since Vent is getting more popular, and easier to maintain servers and whatnot, why not make a TFF Vent server? It'd even help out with online gaming, and get us together as a social group more.

Also, it'd be a good way for people to connect, who don't have skype, or msn.

I'm not positive but to have a Vent server with an X amount of people over the default would cost someone some dollars. Not a bad idea though, idk who'd all be on board and we have to generate that much money if it's needed to donate. It's not to pricey but we should see if there's any other host sites others may be interested in. There's one other I've used called Mumble, maybe that's better? They are both solid.

Mumble sucks, I hate it, but that's just me. A vent server for roughly 15 people can cost around 10 dollars maybe month to month, depending on the host. The host I always use actually does $2.50 for 10 man slots. Around $13 for 50 month to month. If we were to get a Vent server for TFF, I'm honestly thinking of 50 minimum. Another thing would honestly to do a chunk payment to save a lot of money and


donations...I don't expect Loco, Fuzz, or anyone else for that matter to pay monthly or any big chunk out of their wallets for a Ventrilo server roughly nobody is going to use (me included). You're better off finding a random/public Vent server.
