Pictures in Sigs

I have noticed lately that there seems to be a limit of pictures allowed in a sig. It is understandable that there be a limit on it, but I have noticed others with more than three or four pictures in their sigs. Unless I'm seeing things.

Anyway, with the recent awards coming up, is there a way to up that limit? 3 or 4 just seems a little low.

I'm no wizard, but I think that it's based off of one or two parameters that the admins set. It's either total number of images or total amount of data per user, so you could have one large image or a few smaller ones.

Just a guess though, but I'm sure it can be upped from the admin cp.

I'm pretty sure the limit is set to 3 images. However, as you can see with me I have 4 images. It shouldn't be possible, right. I simple only have 2 images, because I combine 3 images into 1. So even though I'm displaying more visually, the system still only sees it as 2. This is how many people get around the limit.

Now just keep in mind, there is nothing wrong with doing this so long as you are not making excessively large sigs.

If we've gotten to the point where admins are telling members how to bypass the rule, then it's probably time to just up the limit.

I agree with S.

Since the post limit is 5, I'll change the signature limit to match - but PLEASE remember to try and keep the vertical length of your signatures in check. There is such a thing as "too much." I like a lot of the hidden spoiler boxes I've seen around here for a while now... great way to have a massive collection of text and images without being intrusive to the streamlined reading process.
