I found it quite strange that once I registered to be a member on a different site yesterday, this site decided to come back online. D'awww. I love you too, TFF.

But yeah, Downtime was annoying time... Thread bump for great justice! And possible answers.

It's crazy, because I joined that exact same forum as Dodie. Who would've thought? It's like we're disloyal or something! ...

I've been wondering what's up with the down time, myself. It'd be nice if someone said something. I'm guessing it's either TFF being worked on, or some problem with the host or something (some tech bs I have no idea how it works.) Anyhoo...

Well, we're definitely not being "worked on" - every time Fuzz fixes the damn Google Link Bug that we discovered a couple months ago, the site is suddenly hammered with downtime... makes me wonder if the google linkjacker is also flooding our server with DDOS every time we undo his/her linkjacking.

Hes probably accidentally deleting some code when trying to fix it. I remember we were trying to get this bootstrap setting on the WDS to function properly at my work, and it kept failing at the offline pass and it was because a simple ":" was missing from a line. Its incredible how one tiny thing can stop a whole system from functioning.

Hey guys,

Sorry about the downtime as of late! Felt like I should drop in and let you know that I've been working on the server quite a bit lately... As Loco said that damn Google hijacking link really messed things up. I believe I finally have it fixed though - as I had to update our vbSEO to the latest version, which is where the bug resided.

In the process, I also updated a few modules on our server to make sure all of our security measures are up-to-date. This included a new version of xCache, which seems to be hiccuping everything so often and crashes the server. I 'think' it is fixed now, so I will keep a close eye on it.
