Well here is the link to begin with FINAL FANTASY XIII
Just click on "Trailers" and you will see that the newest one is Trailer 3, click on the format and watch. I found it to be very good. It starts off with Snowe and Serah riding on a "Air Bike" watching some fireworks and goes from there. You catch a glimpse of Sazh's summon, that as I said in the other thread is actually not Ifrit, and you see Lightning dish out some nice damage with some huge swords riding Sleipnir. There are new story scenese that are revealed unless you know Japanese you won't get much. The trailer also shows the I'Cie that is working for Cocoon. If I'm not mistaken you are able to hear the theme song as well, which I just found out is not done by Uematsu; Uematsu gave it to Hamauzu because Uematsu was selected to compose FF XIV - this marks the first time a Final Fantasy game will not have a single piece of music from him.
Square Enix Music Online :: Video Game Music News This is the link to confirm that Uematsu is not working on FF XIII.

This really shows a lot more than we've seen about the game. Although I don't speak Japanese, I can kind of see how the story is going to work. This game definitely has the potential to be the best in the series. Characters, plot, active environments(2:17 in the trailer, a character is walking around the world amongst giant creatures!), not to mention the combat was quoted at being "the hardest of the series", and at the end of each battle your health is restored because the fights are that hard. The summons look dead-on with what they should be. Summoned beasts that alter the style of play, not just an extra attack like in previous old-gen FF games.
I really hope this game lives up to it's full potential. We might finally see the downfall of Final Fantasy VII being the most popular game in the series. (Which isn't a bad thing, you've had your run Cloud & crew, and it was grand!)
There's now an English dub trailer
Final Fantasy XIII TGS trailer -- this time dubbed in English
I've been avoiding a lot of the media and hype for FFXIII, mostly because I just can't get excited for it, and this trailer kinda reaffirms why.
While the game LOOKS good and the gameplay looks FUN, I just can't get over how lame the story and dialog sound. I hate to sound like a grumpy old man, but damn the series has really gone downhill since Sakaguchi left. Matsuno had promise to making the series great, and Sakaguchi even acknowledged that but then the higher ups at S-E prefer their own ideas and drove Matsuno out.
I seen it.I have it on one of my favorites...
FFXIII apparently will have a lot of emotional scenes from the characters.
We'll see how acceptable that is in certain quarters.
The graphics look great to me.
From watching the trailer I saw quite a few issues the game most likely will be talking about, all of them very interesting and following a trend from Final Fantasy games. I'm excited to see exactly how they answer the issues as it will be a part of my evaluation of the game. I'll have to re-watch to check the dialogue but from my recollection I had no major problem with it.
Matsuno leaving was a sad moment in Square-Enix's history.
