You're strong enough to deal with the rest of the main game if you so wish to do.

I pushed on to the end of the game and did not leave until I was at the very end of the game.
I decided to go back down for a short while and change out my normal team for Snow/Vanille/Sazh.. I've hardly used any of them and thought it would be fun for a change to play them.. I'll stay around awhile and just explore.. The graphics are just breathtaking, I can almost smell the grass and flowers and feel the wind and sun on my face.. Of coarse, I personally, wouldn't want to run into of these cute little beasties that are running around on Pulse..

Thanks hon.. I'll go back up and finish the game tomorrow..

It makes things more comfortable if you have more HP among other stats.
SO grinding DEFINITELY has it's place.
Besides, what about the upper-tier skills that take a bunch of CP to unlock?
Some people like to unlock that stuff early.

I agree that up until a certain point you are matched with enemies, but just the fact that the dev's allow the enemies to re spawn and the enemies containing more than one drop, means that they actually intend you to grind a bit/a ton.

There is no way that just killing off the pre-set numbers of enemies and not letting them re spawn that you will get all of their rare drops, and who wants/needs just one RD anyway.

Can't wait for that bloody growth egg though.

Getting everything in the game isn't a requirement to actually finishing the game. So no they aren't intending you to purposely grind through the game to beat it. Post-game are they? Yes, it is intended that you will fight a lot of the same monsters to get the items you need. That is why Stage 10 of the Crystarium unlocks after you beat the game. They are telling there is more still to do.

Beating the final boss and getting the end doesn't require you to grind, finishing all of the post-game content does though.
Curious? There's no limits but your own imagination.

Yes, I'd love to have that little goodie too.. So, another question.. I've got everyone's weapons that I'm using maxed to level 21.. Now, in order to upgrade to the next weapon you add a specific ingredient and upgrade it, right? Well, did you do them just one at a time, like taking the first weapon and upgrading it to it's final form and then going to the next one and doing the same or what? I'm debating on doing all of them, I don't see the reason for each weapon needing to be upgraded and I don't see where some of them are that great either.. The guide doesn't give a lot of information about which is best, only a somewhat convoluted chart.. What did you do?

I know, I'm excited because the game doesn't end with the story.. I'll finish it soon, just wanted to go down and see a little of Pulse first, then I'll go back and do for that lousy Barthandelous..

Well, I upgraded weapons that I liked the strengths and bonus's of.
Then when I look to see what upgrade material is available to use I'll use it, I'm only on tier 2 stuff, but I'm getting the hang of it.

I did the same, went thru the lineup of weapons and chose the ones I thought was the best for each character and upgraded it.. I've only upgraded one to it's second form though..

Right now I'm hunting some missions and am having trouble with number five.. Cannot, for the life of me, figure out where it is.. I can see the star on the map but when I try to reach it (it leads down to a gully) it disappears..

I'll have to see if anyone has started a topic on mission help in here..
