Noctis Lucis Caellum means Sky of the Night Light, and Stella Nox Fleuret means Star, Darkness, and Sword. Quiet cool, huh? What's your opinion about this two name?

I really love it when names have some kind of meaning behind them. Whenever I write stories, I usually try to give the character's name some kind of meaning...

That is blasphemy. It's not even made by the Final Fantasy team! Ah well, each to their own.

Great names. I think Stella translates more specifically into Stilleto, a fencing sword that she uses. I think I read that somewhere.

the names coming out VERSUS XIII seem to have more thought behind them then some others, being that rumor has it VERSUS has a Shakespearean feel to it.


development company's don't just make these games to make them, they engineer and produce them to make a point and leave a mark.

this addition to the series will be one to remember. and VERSUS is only going to PS3 soooo i think the game might be amazing? hm hm hm yes i do think so.

Umm.. in my opinion, the names are great and so 'Final Fantasy' And yes, Versus XIII was inspired from Shakespeare's. I think their name have special meaning that we don't know until we play the game by ourselves

^ I don't think all the names that have been used for the Final Fantasy games are bad, but some are on the rather odd side. I've noticed that a lot of the names that are picked for the characters do have those little hidden meanings, or have a reference to something in the real world, which is neat, but then you have those names that look like SE just pulled out a bunch of random letters and came up with a name.

As for these names, as creative as they are, I think they are way too long. I suppose it just goes with the characters being of great importance. Aren't they both royalty or something? I haven't really been looking too much into this game. I'm still excited for it though.
