Please correct me if i spelled her name wrong but i just watched the Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days e3 trailer and theres a black haired girl who fights axel with a keyblade and roxas wants them to stop..ive never heard of this girl shion

Well, considering the game's not even out yet, it's most likely really hard to really know who she is. And if she is an original character of the game, then that's all there really is to know about her.
Just have to wait til the game comes out, or wait for more articles/blogs about it when the release date comes closer.

Shion (Xion in the American version) is an original character for 358/2 days. The game has already come out in Japan so if you want spoilers, look them up.However, from what the trailers show, Xion is the 14th member of Organization XIII. The whole game is about what Roxas did in the organization and his relationship to Axel and Xion, which mirrors Sora's, Kairi's, and Riku's relationship. She wasn't in Kingdom Hearts II so the game will probably explain what happened to her and why the Organization kept the name Organization XIII instead of Organization XIV.

I didn't know Shion was the same as Xion. Totally missed that! But, actually, she can be found in Kingdom Hearts Chain Of Memories game. And the reason she does not appear in Kingdom Hearts 2 is because she dies in Chain Of Memories. The ones you do see in Kingdom Hearts 2 is the ones left after Chain Of Memories which Sora is in Oblivion Castle.
Hmmm....Okay, Xion is another special nobody that was created when Sora unlocked his own heart(remember KH? The first one, I mean), releasing Kairi's and his own heart. Well, that's what I read, but I hope this would help you a little bit, kupo.Originally Posted by Arch

Well, Xion is another Nobody connected to Sora. (Notice I didn't say came from Sora's heart being released.) I could tell you, but there are some major spoilers connected to her whole character. I recommend you play through the game and discover them for yourself.
