Your most favorite about each game (no spoilers please)

Reflecting on my previous thread (http://thefinalfantasy.net/forums/ge...673-worth.html) I am asking all of you what your personal favorite thing about each FF you have played and why. What makes that game unique and special, to you. Thanks in advance.

    Oh and... no spoilers!!

FF1 had really powerful monks that were super strong, FF2 had a lot of customizing in character building to this day, FF3 had a unique class system for its time, FF4 had a really good story and music, FF5 had a revamped job system, FF6 had an even better story for its time, FF7 had the materia system and was a bestselling game, FF8 had a bunch of different summons and a crazy storyline that most people dont even understand to this day still, FF9 brought it back oldschool but had a supersayian for a main character so I didnt like it taht much, FF10 had blitzball and was very linear for an FF, FF11 was online and had Dynamis runs that are impossible, FF12 is about 9/11, and FF13 is all about love <3

Meier: Hey Pete, I said I started to, it just didn't end the with the same number of women. Then again this one is kind of on the outs with me if she doesn't straighten up and fly right so that means I will be back in it for the thrill of the kill. Got some in the reserves. Even got a rePETEr (<---- like that ay? AYYYYY?) on the back burner.

Block: I do like the rePETEr except it kinda makes it sound like you're going to pork Pete. No homo.

Re: Your most favorite about each game (no spoilers please)

Well, I guess most of my favorite things about the games that I played in the series would basically boil down to these things: Storyline, battle system, and characters. If you want me to run down the list of games I played, I suppose I could do that, but expect to see a lot of repeats. xD Not going to add in the spin-offs, sequels and prequels though.

FF III- I like the portability of this game, since I got it for the DS. I also enjoy the job system.

FF IV- Again, it's portable (DS), so that's cool. It also has a pretty good story so far, and great characters.

FF VII- Tied for being my favorite in the series. Great storyline, great characters, and the materia system is pretty sweet.

FF VIII- It had good cutscenes and good music...

FF IX- I liked how "fairytale-esque" it was. It also had some pretty great FMVs. The music is probably the best in the series too, but that's just my opinion.

FF X- Loved the battle system, and this is the game that has the most badass character in all of FF (imo)- AURON.

FF XII- I thought the world was spectacular, and loved the level of freedom for customizing your characters. This game is tied with VII as being one of my faves.

FF XIII- Haven't really got a full opinion on this one yet, but if I had to praise it for anything I would say that the character interactions are pretty great, and the battle system focuses more on tact rather than how powerful you can get your characters.

FF 1: It's a good game to play fast, and is a great introduction to all following games.
FF 2: I actually liked the system without the leveling.
FF 3: Just amazing. The job classes and the freedom to change them were just great.
FF 4: The characters were somewhat interesting.
FF 7: The story was ****ed up and too complicated at times, but it is defintely intriguing.
FF 8: I liked the junctioning system, even though it made things too easy, once reaching the Island closest to Hell and the Island closest to Heaven.
FF 9: Everything. The looks, the gameplay, the story, the characters were just amazing. The music is stunning too.

Re: Your most favorite about each game (no spoilers please)

FF1 (GBA)- I liked the extra stuff. The main stuff was painfully easy
FF2 (GBA)- I also like the way you could customise your caharcters. Unlike FFVII and VIII though, it's much harder to abuse (Seriously, it's way too easy to get an overpowered character in these 2 games)
FFIII (Nes) The difficulty (up to where I got) was just perfect, not too hard, not too easy.
FFIII (DS): I did like the fact that they actually gave characters more personnality. Luneth was and is my Favourite Character.
FFIV (SNES/PS1): The epic music, end of story.
FFIVA (GBA): The extra stuff, and the fact that I could use my favourite character anytime in the endgame: Edward
FFIV (DS): It's raised difficulty, although sometime exagerated gave me a nice challenge up to where I got so far. Also: Voice acting FTW
FFV (SNES/PS1) The job system = probably one of the best system created in the 1990's
FFVA (GBA): Again, the extra stuff, the somewhat upgraded music (IMO).
FFVI: The story, some of my favourite characters in the entire series (Namely, the Figaro Brothers)
FFVII: Cid Highwind... honnestly nothing more.
FFVIII: The story, the characters (Exept Zell and Selphie, they pisses me off) The system which is hard to learn, easy to master (Well, even with my complain mentioned in FFII It's nice to have some overpowered characters sometimes )
FFIX: Return to the Medieval thing, Characters with Unique Abilities (As oppsoed to FF2,3,5,7 and 8)
    FFX: Wakka, nuff said
FFXI: The Tarutaru will kick your sorry butts!
    FFXII: Balthier just rock.
FFT: The knight's sheer awesome evade stats (which is actually higher than ninjas, lol)
FFTA: The races. I liked how different races could have different jobs!
FFTA2: Hurdy, the coolest moogle ever created... also the awesome Combo of Fusillier with Moggle Knight Abilities.
