By far it has to be final fantasy tactics. the strategy games are one of my favorite genres in video games
alright other then FF 1-14 there are a lot of spin offs right I mean we have FF tactics, (GBA) FF tactics, FF tactics advanced, FF crystal chronicles,
FF Dissidia, all of the Kingdom Hearts, and more. So I was wondering what all of yours were?

My favorite is also FF Tactics. The game has an interesting story, and the gameplay is really addicting. This game is still my favorite strategy RPG to date. I wish that there would be more titles like this. The Tactics games for the Nintendo systems are too kiddy for me. I would like something a little more mature.
I liked Kingdom Hearts when I played it years ago. Also, are we talking just game spin-offs or movies etc. too?

Crao Porr Cock8: Getting it while the getting's good
If Dissidia counts, then it's a tie between that and Kingdom Hearts II (which had a great ending).
I have yet to try Tactics. What game system is that on?
Please read the poetry from two great friends of mine. May they find peace.

Kingdom Hearts II was pretty good. I never finished it though because I got all OCD when the last thing I had to do was defeat Sephiroth, and I couldn't beat him. But I loved seeing my favourite Final Fantasy characters in that game. ^^
I also like Crisis Core. I never got to finish it because my brother borrowed it and lost it (-_-), but it's my favourite game on the PSP besides Final Fantasy I.
I can't get into Tactics. I enjoy those games for a brief while, and then I just get tired. Not to say they aren't good games, but yeah...
My favorite spin-off is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. I really enjoyed it because I got to play with my friends, and all four of us mashing buttons, shouting, punching, laughing, goofing off, it was great. We all each took our representative roles, too. We had a guy who loved black magic, I usually healed, one almost always just swung his sword (chop! chop that tree down!) and the fourth didn't mind carrying the chalice. It was great.

Favorite spin-off.... Hmmm... Gonna have to go with Kingdom Hearts, I suppose. It was fun to see my favorite FF characters again in a new game, and the Disney stuff was neat too.
Click at your own risk.:
None of them to be honest, they were good but none of them really sticks out to me.
Currently Playing:
Defiantly FFTactics which is still addictive to play to this day. I didnt like the world as much as FF7 or FF8's but it was still fun to follow.
Just finished Crisis Core the other day which was also a really really great game, good graphics, nice soundtrack, lots of CGI and a relatively interesting story (i didnt actually like Genesis much at all, he quoted that LOVELESS way to much over and over and OVER).
Kingdom Hearts was also pretty good but its not so much a spinoff as it is a fun game with FF fanfare.
Dissidia was kinda disappointing played for 30mins and got bored.
Mine would be a close match between Final Fantasy Tactics & Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light. Tactics had great story & characters, deep gameplay, with quite of few optional content as an extra bonus. Haven't beaten 4 Heroes of Light, but gameplay is very fun. Crown system & weapons upgrade is good, though with both using gems it does take time. Has a real old-school feel which is good for those looking for that characteristic in a game.
Main series FFs Beaten - FF: 4x, FFII: 3x, FFIII: 3x, FFIV: 3x, FFV: 3x, FFVI: 4x, FFVII: 5x, FFVIII: 5x, FFIX: 3x, FFX: 4x, FFXII: 3x, FFXIII: 2x, FFXV: 2x
I really liked the Crisis Core, and Dissidia ones. They were actually pretty good.
I never really liked the Crystal Chronicles at all... It's just that I can never get used to how the battling thing goes... I'm really used to the ATB System, so... Yeah, Crystal Chronicles isn't one for me...
I've also liked the Chocobo Fables one aswell... Pretty cute, and a bit challenging, but fun all together.

For me I guess I would say all of the Kingdom Hearts would be up there, I like the familiar feeling with an all new kind of way to play it. Final Fantasy Tactics: the war of the lions, was also fun to play when The tipacle RPG set up gets boring
For me it's gotta be Dissidia the coming together of most of our favourite characters whats not too like.
Kingdom hearts is pretty cool too although the original characters can sometimes be little *****'s
CPC8... Makin' it happen

Anyway, it's a 3 way tie for me: Dissidia, Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus
Dissidia has that epic FF fanboy/girl value, where you can play fights you've always dreamed of. I love the fact that my favourites could fight each.
Crisis Core was the reason I bought a PSP. I love the story of FFVII, and I felt CC filled a lot of the holes left in the story. Besides that, it is a whole lot of fun to play.
Dirge of Cerberus, while it was heavily criticised, was a great game. It let you hear the story of one of my favourite characters, Vincent, and was also a decent shooter.
My favorite of all the spinoff's is FFT. I love everything about the game. The story is absolutely to die for. It is such an excellent game. I have played it like 30 times just for the story. I also enjoy the fact that you just can't rush through battles. It requires careful planning, and intelligence.
I think mine would be Dissidia, partially due to the look of Kingdom hearts and I have never played anyother spinoffs lol
I have tried Tactics, but... Can't say I enjoyed it at all
Your pathetic existence will shut down. I will make your lives end in ruin. Fear me, as you fear death. Not a threat, not a promise, but what must be finished. 7 final arcs...
Dissidia might be the only real Final Fantasy spin off I really play. Although it is partially that fanboy-ism for Final Fantasy, I also really like the fighting system. They really made it all there own, as far as I can tell (the only other fighting game I've played was the Super Smash Bros. series). It's also really exciting to watch. It makes your adrenaline pump. Now whenever I think of epic fights in the main games, I think of them in terms of Dissidia, usually with more awesome. =)
I've tried the tactics games, but for some reason could never really get into them, which is strange because I love the Disgaea games, which have a similar system in place, at least in terms in map layout.
Also, I don't really consider Kingdom Hearts as a Final Fantasy spinoff. I always thought of it as it's own thing (ya, I've never played 'em. Sorry for bias).
Fantasies completed:
I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XII
final fantasy tactics: war of the lions fo 'sho. good storyline, good characters and just all around addicting. starting out, i really didn't think the game would grow on me

CURRENTLY PLAYING
final fantasy xiii-2
skyrim
pokemon fire red
Tactics. Hands down. It had one of the best story's in FF history, with characters I genuinely liked. It did kinda suck that once those characters joined up for good they didn't really play a role in the story anymore, but that's fine because everything else about it was awesome.
You'll have your reward for finding me, and don't think of running off without collecting. My shot is faster, or my names not Balthier.
I loved FF Crystal Chronicles, but the GCube did not belong to me and never played it liked I should. The release for PSP's FFT-WOTL was great because of the added classes.
Crisis Core was also a favorite spin off because of the whole prequel angle. I also really enjoy looking at the add-ons for re-releases.
X-2 was fun for the hunting action and detail I saw.
Chrono Cores:
Well Mystic Quest got me into RPG's in general. I would have never stopped playing Super Mario 3 if it wasn't for that game, so all of my Zelda and FF hours, of which I've played nearly every game in both, are due to Mystic Quest. Simple, but an awesomely cool realm.
I also loved The Spirits Within Movie. Well done, and I thought it was really cool.
Least favorite was Crystal Chronicles. I tried. I did. But I have no idea what the upside was. If you found love in that game, please try to clue me in.
In fact, I'm not sure if I enjoy any of the other spin-offs, and that includes the FF VII movie. I mean it was ok, but I didn't really care that much. X2 was beautiful and quasi-interesting, but I think I just love the series for being single games, and I don't actually care to really explore a 2nd version of the same title. Playing the sequel just makes me feel like I'm super geek who has to have the FFVII pillow and coffee mug. I just like them for what they were, and a sequel or spin-off doesn't add anything for me, unless it's a totally serpate title like Tactics, which I haven't played. Now if they ever re-made one of the old school games, I would be down for that.

Crisis Core I guess. Strange, but I find it to be better than it's original source. It certainly has a better antagonist, Zack was a true hero, lived, and died as one. Music of Crisis Core has to be one of the best I've heard, close second as far as franchise goes. Story wasn't that shabby either, I think I would appreciate it more if I didn't knew the essential part. The ending scene has to be one of the saddest moments not just in Final Fantasy, but gaming in general. Not really my choice of gameplay, but it was solid nevertheless, the option to set your difficulty is certainly nice.
This.
I did beat the original Tactics, had to take brake every now, and then, but it was worth it. Final Fantasy Tactics has an amazing story, and characters. Music is enjoyable as well.
Tactics Advance was a pain in the ass though, same thing can be said for Final Fantasy X-2. I have yet to beat both games. Final Fantasy X-2 has to be the worst game in franchise, love the job system, which wasn't enough to keep me til the very end. Both story, and characters are simply dreadful.
Movies were decent at best, though Final Fantasy Unlimited has to be the biggest crap I have ever seen.
Kingdom Hearts, played two titles, the first one, and Chain of Memories (GBA version). I'm about to be called crazy, but I enjoyed Chain of Memories much more.
Sig and Avy made by Unknown Entity
It's kind of embarassing but I got hooked into FF fables Chocobo's dungeon
Do I have to chose? I mean my name says it all...'Final' for Final Fantasy and 'hearts' for Kingdom Hearts.
Anyways, since we're talking about games I guess I'll have to go with FF7 Dirge of Cerberus and FF7 Crisis Core, along with Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days (that's about Roxas and Organization 13) and Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep (the prequel to the KH series). I have all of the KH games...but still working getting all of the FF games. I don't think I'll ever get them all in time before the newest FF game comes out...that in itself is a never-ending battle.
"All I did was watch, I didn't even try to stop her...that was my sin and this...this is my punishment." -Vincent Valentine, FF7: Dirge of Cerberus-
I've really never liked any of the spin offs. I hated tactics on the psp for some reason.
So for me it has to be Chocobo racing on the ps1. Legend of a game
I personally thoroughly enjoyed X-2. it was great if you dont compare it to X which everybody did...
But its definitely not everyones cup of tea .
